Like a lot of books written bouncing between two interesting storylines, the historical one about Elizabeth Bathory was by far the most interesting and I sped through this book to read all about her. Loved those parts, especially since my dad is Hungarian.

Read this for a class and did NOT like it. Formulaic and unsurprising but for Nora Roberts fans probably a a favorite.

Another book for my RA class, really interesting and intensely honest. Interesting and not at all expected.

Amazing book. I loved the circus descriptions and it broke my heart as to the treatment of the elephants and other animals (as well as the humans). Beautiful.

Great follow up to the first in the series. I really enjoyed it.

I'm thinking about going vegan and I thought this book would help me. STill having trouble giving up the cheese!

I have a five and two year old. 'Nuff said.

Repeat #11.

Good continuation of the series...not as great as the first one.

Amazing and so interesting. I highly recommend this book!"
I read this one last year - I agree completely!

Recommended to me by a YA librarian. Loved it! If you like mysteries and young spunky protagonists, you will love this.
