You're definitely right about that. I first thought Paperwhite will consume more battery than my ol'Kindle 3, but I was totally wrong.

By the way, does any of you own both Kindle and Nook? If so, which one do you personally prefer?

Lord Nouda (nouda) | 54 comments Oooh now my Kindle Touch has the Paperwhite's interface. Well except for the light button that is.

What do you say about Barnes & Noble discontinuing most of Nook production in-house? Here: http://www.nbcnews.com/technology/bar...

Akak, but still they will continue to produce the basic e-reader right?

Yup, Nook Simple Touch only if I don't misunderstood.

BTW, have anyone of Nook users here experience this. When I click on the latest read, it will bring me to the book, but when I go back to the library after that, the latest read will be the second book in library list. My Nook has gone crazy!

Limau Nipis (limaunipis) | 89 comments Mine also gone bonkers. I cannot delete some books that I transferred in the first place from pc to Nook. The books has been permanently stored in the Nook, which annoys me to no end

I think technology still cannot beat dead tree books. Now I read digitally on smartphone, hardly use my Nook again.

Lord Nouda (nouda) | 54 comments My Kindle Touch is still going strong after more than two years. The paint coating on the front has peeled off a bit but other than that it's still in tip top condition. I'll probably pick up a PW or whatever is the latest iteration of the Kindle once it dies. DTBs have functioned as trophies on my shelves ever since I got that thing :D

Seems like you are collecting e-reader Lord :)

Will it be easy to transfer e-books from Kindle to PW or between other devices - what software do you use?

Limau Nipis (limaunipis) | 89 comments kak Najibah, since I have lots of eye strain issue, I still read on my Nook. best ever investment made for serious readers

Have you check whether the time on your Nook is right or not? If not, you should try turning your WiFi on and let the device sync for awhile. At times, when you rebooted or restarted your device, it kind of mess up its internal clock and that for some reasons stop the device from detecting the last book you were last on.

I'm an avid Calibre user ever since I started using my 1st e-reader, the ol'Kindle 3. I'll be interested to see if anyone of you use any other softwares to help you managed your library.
