Yay! We all seem to be doing very well :) I'm 6 books ahead!
It's telling me I'm 25 books (13%) ahead. A few days ago I had a comment suggesting I increase my goal.

Yup, I underestimated all right! I'm 51% through this challenge. 33 books, 17% ahead. I figure when I complete the initial challenge, I'll increase my goal then. Summer's coming and I might not get as much reading done. Wow, I even typed that with a straight face. LOL.

My brother's doing very well. His doctor released him to go back to work and drive. No restrictions!?! Of course, the people at work are making sure he doesn't lift anything too heavy or overtire himself. LOL. Great people there. He does have a tiny bit of slurred speach still. But, considering the doctor expected paralysis on his left side from only looking at the CT scan, that's something we can all live with.
Excellent news Daffodil, he may improve more yet. Fingers crossed!

Bummer, GR is telling me that @ my current rate I'm 3 books behind Dang it. Will have to get my head back in the books and out of the clouds LOL.

I have completed my GR challenge of 100 books! I really didn't think I'd do it this quick but there you are. Although I was expecting GR to praise me a bit more or send me some congratulatory chocolates. It was slightly anticlimatic to be honest. Just a "well done". Oh well, I've still done it! :D
