Jade I have not read this yet but I will because someone keeps pushing me to read it cough*Jenna*. So write what you think of this book.

Amy (vivaladolcevita) Frankly, it's a wonderful series, in my opinion at least. The story is engaging and thought provoking. The characters are well developed and the plot is just good. I personally loved the world Suzanne Collins created. It's so complex and wonderful. You find yourself hanging on each word and can't wait to read the next book. :)

Ceci (shiriusa) I already read the series and I made a spoiler free review in my Blog I totally agree with Amy about the complex and beautiful, because it can be shocking sometimes but you kind of concentrate on the characters more than the scenery and that's what I liked the most about the books.

Jade Wow I loved this book! Everything about was wonderful, I couldn't stop reading it. I'm reading Catching Fire right now and I hope it's just as good as The Hunger Games.

Amy (vivaladolcevita) Glad you love it. And yes, yes it is. :)

Ceci (shiriusa) It really is!, I loved that catching fire was as awesome as the hunger games, that's very rare.

Agreed! Before I read Catching Fire I was worried that it wouldn't be as good as the first, and I was really surprised at how good it actually was. Though I was really disappointed with Mockingjay :/

Courtnay Boateng (courtnay_boate) I really loved The Hunger Games, it was definitely thought provoking and intense, I had to read it all in one sitting! I did also enjoy Catching Fire. But, I have to say that the last book let me down a little bit. I liked it, but it just didn't measure up to the first one (but that often happens). The series could have ended better, this ending was rather weak.

Not just weak, but very rushed as well. Especially near the end of Mockingjay where a lot of action was happening, and it was rushed and strange. I also think certain characters were unnecessarily killed off <.<

I thought Cathing Fire was just a bridge to the 3rd book Mockingjay. I have read all 3 and cant wait to see the movie!!!!!

Actually, the second book is the best, in my opinion. The 3rd was really bad.

message 13: by Faith Noelle (new)

Faith Noelle Smith The 3rd was only bad cause they killed off Primrose. In my opinion the !st book was the best out of all 3

message 14: by Faith Noelle (new)

Faith Noelle Smith Yes the 3rd was bad cause they killed of tiny helpless Prim. In my oppinon that was not right.
