James Willis (james_a_willis) | 1 comments Greetings!
My name is James. I'm a rather offbeat author who writes about all sorts of strange and spooky stuff, mainly for the Weird US series of books. I've also been investigating and researching ghosts and the paranormal for close to 30 years, during which time I managed to acquire close to 900 books on the paranormal (which I have started adding to Goodreads).
Looking forward to meeting new friends here!

Patrick Kampman | 1 comments Hello! It looks like a high percentage of us are writers. I am as well -- just published a YA ghost story (The Haunting of Pico), in fact -- and I'm always on the lookout for new ghost/paranormal books to read. Looking forward to getting some recommendations from the group (as well as any feedback you might have for me).

Kim (mimig) | 3 comments Hi, I am Kim! I am not an author, but I have always wanted to be! But I just don't know how/where to start. I have been an avid reader and researcher of the paranormal since I was a child. I experienced several peculiar events throughout my childhood and beyond. They are still happening to my family as of today. WILD! I am very excited about being a member of this group! I hope I can help contribute to make this a thriving and fun group!! :) By the way, I am always open to Book Recommendations...I love to read Non-Fiction Paranormal/Supernatural books, but I am game for anything Paranormal/Supernatural...included NDE, Angels, etc. I look forward to getting to know members of the group!! :)

Looking forward to getting to know you better too, Kim! What is your most favorite book in the whole world? O know it's hard to pick!

Robert Tucker | 3 comments Hi, my name is Bob. I'm interested in paranormal liturature but not really cheesy horror. I like it when ghosts or mythical (or not) creatures are skillfully incorporated into a story. Glad to be here.

Armada Volya | 2 comments Hi, I'm Armada. I lived in 6 countries and was able to get to know local cultures and believes which I'm now writing short stories about.
Some of the old legends aren't well known so I thought I'd do something about it.

Tim Prasil (timprasil) Hi, everyone! I'm Tim.

I'm writing a short-story series titled Vera Van Slyke: Help for the Haunted. Vera is an American ghost-hunter from the early 1900s. You can download these stories -- one a month -- at my blog: http://timprasil.wordpress.com/

Perhaps of greater interest is my continuing search for early occult detectives. As I hunt through ghost/paranormal fiction from the 1800s to about 1925, I use my blog to report on what I find, often providing links to etexts of this material. So far, I've made many interesting discoveries.

In weeks to come, I'll be adding non-fiction works of occult detection into the mix.

I look forward to chatting with the group!
