On the subject of associating books with trivia, can I ask that people first look at the description of the book on the page they are linking to?

I've come across questions where the answer is given in the description of the book. I get the impression that book links are sometime added just for the sake of it.

They are, to make it easier to find them via "questions on this book". But yes, if the summary is a giveaway, probably best to add the link in the box that only shows up after the question is answered, and not to the question itself.

My response would be in my personal opinion stupid question! but it is a question about a book and the book is mentioned therefore it stays - would be good to have a hyperlink to the book but ..................

I think that question needs to go. either that or it needs to be edited to make it specific to which edition it's referring to.

Agree with Ralph on this one - as soon as Under the Dome is issued in PB (if it isn't already), the page count will be inaccurate.
