Thus begins the story of the book vending machine in Malaysia. According to Kee, a prototype is currently at the testing stage; MPH aims to launch the final versions in the Klang Valley at the KL Bookfair next month.

This is a new territory for MPH so the company has thoroughly explored and analysed the challenges that come with this new sales avenue.

I like it. Very Japanese. Although it depends on the kind of books they offer. If it's just those 'how to get rich by blogging' books, then they're just wasting time.

I saw those type of machines in Korea, but the book that they are selling are Blood type personalities books, tour guide books and maps.

I'm wondering what kind of books that MPH offer to us?

I like the concept, but am wary at the fact that it will very likely be limited to Best-Sellers only.
