One of the greatest parts about reading historical fiction is that it can be enjoyed across many genres. Mystery, romance, fantasy, horror - they all have their place in historical fiction. Plus, history is a pretty big place. From the ancient world to more modern days, young adult historical fiction writers have a nearly limitless amount of material to work with. And so do you! What does that mean? It means we've created the perfect playground for the obsessive compulsive in you.

Use this thread to list and categorize your favorite young adult historical fiction books. You can make a list of the best World War II reads or categorize all your favorite beheaded royal books by country of reign. They can be as simple or as complicated as you like. Go nuts! The sky is the limit. If you're not ready to start a list of your own, add your two cents to another list. After all, what is a discussion group without a little healthy discussion?

Get creative, have fun, and prepare to hear your to-read shelf groan!

P.S. Don't forget to use the add book/author link above the comment box when adding books to your lists. It really does make it so much easier for the group to find the books you're listing.
