Thanks for the heads up... it does sound pretty good, will have to put that on the to-read list...Armand Rosamilia
Highway To Hell
Yeah, I put it on my to read list, but I probably won't buy it until the price comes down. There are like hundred titles on my to read list and over half are less expensive. Maybe by the time I get down to it, it will be at a reasonable price.
This looks great! Agreed though, it's a little steep. 9.99 should at least get me something physical.
Being a hardcover doesn't help the price. I imagine most of us will wait it out a bit and take another look when it's paperback or a cheaper ebook. Then again there is always the Goodreads swap... :-POh wow, just checked - paper available April 14th. That's fast, only a few weeks after the hardcover, interesting. Anyway, hopefully it'll be a good price.
This does look good. I wonder though with all the illustrations what it will look on a basic ereader like the Nook (not nook color). I know the Zombie Survival Guide (also by WWZ author Max Brooks) has illustrations as well but they are pretty rudimentary. The ones in this new book sound a lot more detailed.
Good question. I clicked through "Surprise Me" a few times until I hit a couple of drawings - they look like detailed but slightly rough black and white sketches with shading. I bet they'd be fine on a Nook. (based on samples I saw on this page: http://www.javoedgeblog.com/tag/nook/)
thanks Gertie.and those javoedge flip, kickstand cases are gorgeous. Unfortunately I can't justify the expense, my etsy case works fine and anyway I usually like to hold my nook naked....errr hold a naked nook when reading :)
Hi everyone. Just joined the group. I have a giveaway on my zombie blog for this book. The publisher has sent me 5 copies for the contest, so please stop in and get your names in the hat. :)http://zombiegirlshambling.blogspot.com/
Best,

I imagine it's expected to appeal to fans of World War Z as it seems to take a similar approach.
