Which would rather be, the dumper or the dumpee?

I think I would rather be the dumper, because then I could get out of relationships without being so emotionally screwed up. But being the dumpee would make a person more sympathetic and sensitive, so it's a tough question to answer.

I prefer the dumper because it's just not as emotionally compromising

I think I would rather be the dumpee because that would mean that I wasn't the first to quit on the relationship. It's better to have loved and lost than never loved at all anyways right?

I would much rather be the dumpee. Sure it sucks to get dumped because that's usually the person who gets more emotional about it, but I would much rather be the person who got hurt than the person who hurt someone else.
