I'm going to continue reading the series.. There was excitement on Harriet's disappearance. A truly mind-boggling mystery. but I am a slow-reader on the first one. There are terms that I couldn't understand/unfamiliar to me.

Oh no. I did like the series. But I REALLY loved the first book. The other 2 books were kinda about something else. They didn't grasp me like the first one did.
I don't really want to read the girl with a dragon tattoo books. They don't really seem like my kind of thing :|

I watched the 1st of the foreign ones. Haven't seen the others, or the American version yet. Want to see the American version, too, but since I wasn't in love with the other 2 books, I'm not sure if I care enough to watch the 2nd and 3rd movies.

how was the movie? Haven't watch any of it, my dad says that it wasn't good and I heard it was banned in India.
diana i totally agree if your not into a book dnt read it. i used to always finish a book but then wished i hadn't wasted my time so now if i'm not into it by 100 pages i give up

Wow, didn't think that there was enough of anything bad to be banned anywhere. There's some graphic material, but that's in the book that way. I didn't like the movie as much cuz I had already read the book, and movies never stand up to their book versions, but my husband watched the movie with me (without reading the book) and he said he really liked it
