The Haunted came out last year & The Hidden just came out on Sept 6 (US). I have missed Abbey & Caspian!

Oh - & you should check out Jessica Verday's website! http://www.jessicaverday.com/html/01_... Look under Abbey's Hollow & they sell the perfumes from the book & the beautiful necklaces! (which are currently sold out, darn it) And under Get The Goods you can get a HIDDEN bracelet!

Well, I have Firelight (Firelight, #1) by Sophie Jordan (saving it for next month), Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins Strange Angels (Strange Angels, #1) by Lili St. Crow The DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) by Kody Keplinger etc...

message 2674: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Morfi (vmorfi) | 196 comments I've heard a lot of great things about Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins but not so mucha about The DUFF (Designated Ugly Fat Friend) by Kody Keplinger .

Strange Angels (Strange Angels, #1) by Lili St. Crow is a big series but I think it must be nice, from the plot and all.

There are all so different, it depends on your mood, I guess. :)

Me too, but I'm not in the mood for Anna and the French Kiss I guess, you got that right:)

Who knows I'll pick something else altogether, haha!

message 2676: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Morfi (vmorfi) | 196 comments I have the same problem sometimes. But others I just want to finish the one I'm reading as fast as I can cause I'm already thinking about the next book.

Oh me too! But I found myself to be very emotional these days so I tend to stick to a book and somehow every single one (despite how boring it is) will make me shed a tear.

message 2678: by Veronica (new)

Veronica Morfi (vmorfi) | 196 comments It had happened to me before, and mostly with movies. But lately I didn't want to read anything that might make me cry cause I was in a very happy and excited mood. And most of the book I read were funny and light.

message 2679: by Natshane, H.F.G.Stealer (new)

Natshane | 5296 comments Mod
Oh yes, movies. I cried at anything sad, or too happy! I even cried when Tyra Banks announced the winner on Americans Next Top Model, :P

I guess I can switch mood pretty quick, I'll cry this second and laugh the next, XD

Yes! I rarely have books which did that though, is that how reading horror books feels like?

message 2694: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Oh yes.. But this is kind of Mystery/Thriller. It's not my first time to read horror books. we had this mini sequels collection of Ghost Stories (too bad it's only available here in the Philippines) where people submit their own experiences about ghosts.. It's just creepy.

and I read alone. :P

I used to buy Singapore's collection of ghost stories but it seems okay, not that scary (but when I read it at 12 it was :S)

How hardcore is Philippine's ghosts??

message 2696: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) Philippine ghost, well some are scary some are not. when I'm reading alone and there are sounds I could here. I can't help being nervous.

But there's one story that I couldn't forget when I read it. IDK what book no. but it's one of the best that gave me total creeps.

Cool! You are a hardcore horror fan in my eyes. I always wanted to read something that would make me (to be crude) pee my pants, haha. But only the movies does so.

message 2698: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) LOL. yes in movies. The Grudge creeps me out. you know how the ghost there making some sounds and I hate it..

But I stopped collecting True Philippine Ghost Stories because my mom was scared of the covers and tell me not to buy anymore.

message 2699: by Natshane, H.F.G.Stealer (new)

Natshane | 5296 comments Mod
Me too, I think the sounds make it scary instead of what we see ya know. Speaking of which, The Grudge 4 is out:D

Haha, I think my mum would encourage me to buy more because she's a horror buff! Haha

message 2700: by Beatrice (new)

Beatrice (beatricemasalunga) I prefer the Japanese one.. but it's like never ending.

that's lucky. I secretly buy ghost stories.. but I missed a lot of books though.
