having a pet like parrot would be unusual as cats haven't spared anything around in my locality. Being a animal lover, I would't have kept it in a cage!

Well then, almost all the books an some of the movies I read/watch.
There is The Harry Potter series (still haven't gotten over that one!),Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Perks of being a Wallflower (recently read it again!).... and well the list would never end.

As for the movies, I recently saw Moonu(3) starring Dhanush & Shruti Hassan (ever heard Kolaveri Di? Its from this movie) and can't get it out of my mind.
