Rosun Rajkumar (rosunningthemcha) | 868 comments Short Stories. Few pages and you get a complete story. A fragment of the character's life, beautifully told.

Abhijith Nuchin (nuchin) | 796 comments It depends on how the person died, if he is murdered I'll call police. or else I'll check on the body and then call police. (atleast I hope so)

TTPBM:same

message 3113: by Aravind (new)

Aravind P | 1366 comments I'll strangle him once more, just to be sure. Take the money and put his body in the boot of my car and ring my boss to say, "Job done".

Ahtims (embeddedinbooks) | 47116 comments Mod
yes, I was reading "Dream's sake" and found that towards the end where things are getting heated, my book missed 25 pages. I mailed flipkart, they replaced the copy. But the wedding scene lingered in my mind for nearly 10 days

TTPBM: do you keep tabs of the books you read?

message 3118: by Rosun (new)

Rosun Rajkumar (rosunningthemcha) | 868 comments Unfortunately no. I get too engrossed with what I am reading at present and the to-read list. Once in a while if someone is discussing a book I read, then I kinda re-visit the memories of the book.

TTPBM: How far do you think a fictional author influence his/her readers?

message 3119: by Anbu (new)

Anbu (anbutheone) | 4469 comments A lot more than the self help authors :)

TTPBM: Same

message 3120: by Aravind (new)

Aravind P | 1366 comments Writers can influence reader's thoughts and ideology. That is as much as influencing the reader to take a different road.

TTPBM: Same

message 3121: by Sathya (new)

Sathya Prakash (rivernile) | 4290 comments It is observed that at different stages of life, one is temporarily influenced to a certain period by what we read and it is hard to travel in the straight lines of ones life...we get bored often and desire changes at all times.

TTPBM: Would you write to get noticed or would you write to satisfy your feelings?

message 3122: by Rosun (last edited Dec 14, 2011 02:04AM) (new)

Rosun Rajkumar (rosunningthemcha) | 868 comments Tough choice! Do I need to pick only one? :P Very, very tough call and I don't even write professionally.

TTPBM: same

message 3123: by Parikhit (new)

Parikhit | 3999 comments Personally, I have been greatly influenced by so many works of fiction that they refuse to leave me and linger in the corners of my head. I tend to relate to the stories. But there are some books where the influence has not been profound but did find a teeny-weeny place in my grey matter.

TTPBM: Do you believe in new year resolutions?
