message 2553: by Tarun (new)

Muddle head (adic) | 4646 comments Try this Mansee, maybe easier to remember :P
key - keylu
laptop - lappo singh
book - bookli baba
bike - bikku

I forget people's names, inclusive of mine :P I can forget almost everything and anything. It helps a lot in my reading, coz i can re-read my fav books as if am reading them for the first time, provided i remember wat my fav books are :P

TTPBM: ur most funny/embarassing 'forgetfulness' incident ?

message 2555: by Anbu (last edited Aug 29, 2011 02:39AM) (new)

Anbu (anbutheone) | 4469 comments One of my friend who knows about my memory of people once asked, ‘Hey, you remember this guy Balaji from EEE rite?’.

As he always tease/scold me for forgetting people, I just told, ‘Yeah I remember, what about him?’

My friend replied, ‘You remember? Ok, describe him..’

I was too embarrassed as I don’t have a single clue about whom he was talking. Had to confess I don’t remember.. :(

Mansee | 2037 comments So many of forgetting peoples names but the foremost are two which happened in school

1. I used to pick up a friend on my way to school everyday and one day I forgot to pick her up- the poor thing waited till school time and then came in an auto- the teacher asked her - why late and then i remembered !

2. On my way out to school, my mom gave me a thermometer which I was supposed to give to my sister
who used to stay one floor down- within a minute I forgot and I realised it when I reached school and was keeping my vehicle key in the pocket and found the thermometer there!

I have read two books which I feel can be labelled as porn - I felt disgusted, wanted to stop, but some sort of morbid interest made me read till the end - those are Motel Slave and Overheard. I was hindered by the fact that these were books I downloaded for free and there was no warning cover and I didnot bother to check the exerpt to know the exact nature of the content.

Lady Chatterley's lover - it was written in early sixties but banned for many years and Penguin Co. even had to face lawsuits for publishing scandalous books. But I dont know why the hype was for, I found it mediocre, and wasn't able to understand the psychology behind it
