I had similar feelings for it, esp after the movie. But when i visited the universal studios, i was surprised that quite a few scenes from the movie are actually shot in the studios. Esp the final murder of the papal candidate in water in a fountain. That entire location was a set in Universal Studios :( I felt so cheated!!!

I was very impressed with the places when Dan Brown described them in such a detailed way.
@Adz: Do you think they would have got permission to shoot in the real places after all the negative responses from the religious people on the book & Dan Brown?

I went there for work. Maybe u shud ask the qstn abt Las Vegas instead of Los Angeles ;)

TTPBM: ever participated in a protest march/rally etc? When/where?
once when I was an MBBS student and all the Kerala medical colleges were protesting against privatisation of medical college way back in 1990's - I was ambiguous- but was forced to join protest marches and rallies as I was just a first year student then - was unfortunate enough to get caught by police and put in the station for half a day till some lawyer rescued us - was dumb enough not to run when police approached

Sat'day was tiring, visiting relatives, completing some pending work at the banks etc. And then followed up with a shopping spree from 12 to 2 in the midnight at Charminar. Was an amazing experience in the Ramzan market, with hardly any space to even walk, an entire road of about 4km stretch was full of shops, glittering bangles, clothes at throw-away prices, smuggled goods from Dubai, mouth-watering food like dry fruits etc.
Spent entire Sunday at home, re-watched Chronicles of Narnia-I and Baby geniuses...
