It has hit 40 °c I thinkTTPBM what's something you r looking fwd to this year?
You live in Chennai, right, Selva? I saw in the paper a few days back that it was 41°C in Chennai. Looking forward to finally seeing other countries

Austin, yes. I have not been keeping track. But definitely it had gone beyond 40°c last couple of weeks. And mid 30s now.Looking fwd to landing a proper job.

Irrational , unfounded fear of slipping in the bathroom and really hurting myself that will incapacitate use of my limbs.TTPBM : Same
I have the same fear coz the slope where the bathroom entrance meets the doormat can be slippery. I have twice slipped but somehow wasn't hurt. Nowadays I am very mindful when I cross the entrance.My other biggest fear: Losing my eyesight

As a student I didn't like Civics. As an adult I don't like Sanskrit being taught in some schools. I see no point in learning this language that no one uses anymore.

Languages are optional right? I don't think Sanskrit is mandatory. Those who like can learn.

Yeah, languages are mostly optional. But a disproportionate amount of money is being allocated for promoting Sanskrit.TTPBM GPay, Phone Pe or PayTm?
We had no option at our school as we had only a teacher for Sanskrit and no teachers for other languages. I kinda liked Sanskrit at that time to some extent but I feel it's of no use now. It's better to learn some other Indian language that people actually use in daily life.Phone pe

I try to read at least 2 hours every day.

I personally celebrate Jan 1st. My mom cooks some delicacies for Tamil new year and I happily have it. My parents do pooja n celebrate Tamil new year but I don't participate in that aspect.TTPBM same

Chennai has the fantastic Anna Centenary library. It is well stocked and very peaceful to read with a nice view too. It is kind of far off from my place, else I would visit more often.TTPBM same
