TTPBM murder mystery or political thrillers?

message 22055: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments Murder mystery is good but I like Political thrillers more. Loved the books by Frederick Forsyth and Daniel Silva.

TTPBM : Your favourite state in India other than your home state?

message 22056: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments MSD may have been influenced by the rain factor. Also CSK has a powerful batting line-up. Except Rayudu, who has been off-colour in the past two seasons, the rest are mostly in good nick.

message 22057: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments I mean two seasons, not past two seasons

TTPBM - A song that everyone loves but you hate

message 22068: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments Don't remember anything recent. But there was a football world cup anthem composed by Ricky Martin, it was quite peppy and popular but I never quite liked it. And the Tamil song Singapenne by A.R.Rahman and another number by A.R.Rahman...they were hits here in TN.

message 22069: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments The jai ho song. I never liked it.

TTPBM : A song that you like but everyone else seem to hate

TTPBM American sit-coms or K-dramas?

message 22071: by Yash (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments I love both for their own separate reasons. Kdramas have a unique depth in story and characters that I've seldom found in sitcoms. But then, for pure entertainment, it's a sitcom that I end up playing while eating dinner. So it's a tough call — can't commit to one.

TTPBM, same?

message 22072: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments I am yet to watch a K drama.

Austin, this list might help you choose your next thriller

message 22079: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments Leena, you answered my question. Page refresh issue. Thanks.

I watch news n see around me and certain events inspire me and certain things reassure me that life isn't as bad as sometimes I think it is. But can't think of a particular person who inspires me. I got randomly inspired by ppl who make it against overwhelming odds, recent example being batter Rinku Singh of KKR.

message 22080: by Leena (new)

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 7181 comments that's a very commendable way of picking up inspiration. In my case, I look at the negative people do or say ans opine and decide I'm never going to be that person. so whoever I am today js a result of that.
