Mansi | 386 comments Oh yes ,very tasty and nutritious .

TTPBM Which OTT u prefer Prime or Netflix or anything else

message 21852: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments When I had Netflix, I liked it a lot better than prime. Sony Liv also comes up with good shows compared to prime. Where prime fares better is in getting movies. Most good movies(including all languages) come to prime.

message 21853: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments I prefer Disney+ and Sony Liv as I watch mostly cricket matches since I don't have a TV at home. Occasionally I watch sitcoms and very rarely movies. But since Sony Liv buffers more than Disney+, i prefer the latter.

TTPBM : Which team(s) are you supporting in the IPL?

TTPBM has never got drunk ?

message 21857: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments No, I haven't ever got drunk. I had alcoholic beverages 7-8 times in my lifetime, mostly grape wine and fruit beer.

TTPBM : Same

message 21858: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments Have been fully drunk a few times. But haven't had even a beer for the last many years.

TTPBM what book you have been meaning to buy but postponing it?

message 21859: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments La Tangere me noli (Touch Me Not) by Jose Rizal

Postponed buying it as it's somewhat costly in India, at close to 1000 rupees.

TTPBM : Same

message 21860: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments I have a few on my wish list. But got a couple of book's (in the list) cheaply at book fairs. So content for now. Cormoron Strike Books by JK Rowling are in the list. Eyeing them closely for the price to drop.

TTPBM what would you choose to do if money is no longer an issue?

Mansi | 386 comments TTPBM if u thought of keeping a pet - what it would be

message 21864: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments I prefer to keep a hen as a pet as it will provide me with eggs and make little noise. Dogs and cats don't provide me anything, other than perhaps joy.

TTPBM : Same

message 21865: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments Eggs aren't that costly man :). I am sort to allergic to pets. Only thing I am comfy doing is giving a piece of egg n some chicken to crows which flock the moment I go outside with the plates. But nobody has crows as pets.

TTPBM fav ice cream flavour?

message 21866: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments Lol. I can't think of any other pet that would be beneficial to me Selva. Goats and cows are not practical for me. They need fodder and good care. Hens are easier to manage.

Elaichi flavour

TTPBM : Why do you think Luffy is missing from the games?

message 21867: by Leena (new)

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 7181 comments I would love having dogs and cats as pets. And i would go to the shelter and puck them up. So many waiitng to get adopted but here in Mumbai I barely have space for myself , it would be cruel to bring in another member.

Elaichi flavoured ice creasm? Where dobyou get that?
My favourite favourite ice cream isbthe baskin robbins Cotton Candy. You do get other variations of this flavour but by far BR's is truly the very best.
Luffy i think is hiding in the South pole with Jessi Neilsen and so mia.

TTPBM
What the most informative book youve read.

message 21868: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments BR cotton candy...will remember it if I visit a BR.

Freaknomics, what the dog saw by Malcolm Cladwell. Factfulness (which I bought but yet to read) should be informative too I think.

Btw Austin you have not replied TTPBM Question

message 21872: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments Yes Mansi. I didn't ask a question.

I have read so many informative novels but hardly any non fiction books. The Name of the Rose was most informative for me but it's esoteric in nature for many.

TTPBM : Have you ever had your food delivered by a Mumbai Dabbawala?

message 21873: by Leena (new)

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 7181 comments Yes, when I was at school, my dabba everyday was delivered by the dabbawala. I would get reak hot food from home. Proper 2 chapatis, sabji and either dal or curd rice.
But nowadays, many schools are discouraging this practise on the premise of safety. They are providing their lunch so obviously they dont want home food delivered.

TTPBM : your favourite south indian dish.
Mine happens to be medu vada snd upma

message 21874: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments Wow. Nice... Only 2 chapatis? I usually have 5-6.

TTPBM.If you got a chance to go back to the past and mend your relationship with your ex will you do it

message 21890: by Leena (new)

Leena Aluru (mgleena) | 7181 comments I don't have an ex, but I would definitely do a lot of things in my marriage differently and hopefully for the better.

TTPBM: same

message 21891: by Austin (new)

Austin George | 4069 comments No, I couldn't have done anything to mend the relationship because I realised that I was just a temporary person in her life before she patched up with her ex bf. She was also a Filipina and we were in a LDR for 5 months. That was back in 2019. Now I am in a LDR with another Filipina since last month. From 2020-21 I was single. Now, you may think why I am in relationships with Filipinas and not Indian girls. It's because in India we hardly have dating culture and generally Indian girls are not interested in relationships and love marriage. According to stats, 95% of marriages in India are arranged. So in this scenario, it's almost impossible to find someone to date. Moreover, being an introvert, I am not the sort of person who approaches girls in real life. For someone like me dating apps or fb dating groups are a much better option. Indian girls hardly use those things. Mostly I found either frauds or inactive users on apps and hardly any soul on fb. Mostly foreigners use those apps and groups since arranged marriage is almost alien to them. So that's how I ended up with a Filipina.

Thanks, Austen, for being so candid. I am under the jnoression that most girls prefer love marriages or atkeast with someone they know. But I personally do believe that dating is a good base to build your marriage on. One becomes more aware of what goes into a marriage. I was really unprepared , and I know quite a few who believe the same. One learns how to deal emotionally with others.
In today's scenario of a single child , since most of them are spoilt, relationships will take a natural.toll.

message 21896: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments Sometimes, yes. Depends on the place, if it is a fancy mall n I am all by myself, then I do get a little self-aware. Otherwise, I don't think so much.
