Thus painting is like a 3D thing. The depth is also conveyed. And I know Vermeer is a famous painter. Apart from that I can't tell why this should the 2nd best painting in the world. It is like saying a very good movie that you watched last week is the best movie ever made. Normally, in most polls Citizen Kane is declared the best movie ever. Tarantino doesn't think so. I liked the film but I can list many other films that I have liked better.
Anyway, I have many of these kind of unpopular opinions. And they change with evolving perspective.

My grandfather's mom was alive till I was in my late teens. Remember exchanging a few words with her when we used visit our native. Don't know the accurate age.

Haven't seen this. Many Adam Sandler movies are difficult to sit through. Otherwise I normally watch movies that are at least 6 pointers on IMDB unless something is rated low but has acquired cult status over the years.

I like both of them, actually. Carrey's Dumb and Dumber (1994) is funny to me. Sandler has 4 movies that I like a lot : Uncut Gems (2019), Punch Drunk Love (2002), Happy Gilmore (1996), and Billy Madison (1995).
