Sharadha Jayaraman (jayaras) | 1795 comments Sorry, I deleted my comment after Abish clarified.

Now answering.

I'd be forever trapped in the ecotone of a mirage and reality, slowly go insane. Ecotone, a word I learned recently - a transition phase between two worlds.

Same? (if anyone has a more interesting answer?)

its a lucid dream ..
sometime it feels like de ja vu I almost knew it

Well something that actually happens after is you try to feel like you are controlling pretty much everything you try to travel from one place to another in seconds you believe that shortcuts are everywhere distance becomes shorter than you can even imagine you wander and wander for sometime you replay your memories 😶

It ends with a fall in pit of death 😂

Keep a dream journal for log may be someday you'll know it is even possible ( or may be thats just a fault in my brain 🙄)

TTPBM, Samsung or Apple?"

If mobile its none! Sony fan boy here, been using their devices since Ericsson days I still have the collection ranging from k850i Cybershot, w302 walkman series, Xperia neo, arc, Z (I love this phone) , Xperia X performance now their designs became monotonous, they still can't get rid of their omni-balance design philosophy but one thing I like about them is they are more developer friendly compared to Shamsung which u can't even unlock bootloader specifically if one opts for Qualcomm variant of Shamsungs. Love their note series though, my note 4 still running strong on Lineage, now moved to nokia for that stock OS, kinda budget pixel, for 23k one can't ask more!

TTPBM: Do you go into a trance when listening to a certain kind of music? Like, does music affect you in more than a superficial level?

Rita (devourer_of_words) | 9 comments Yes, there are certain songs that evoke feelings that cannot be described, like music that takes you in, connects to you on a deeper level and takes you on a journey...

TTPBM: what is the one place/city/country you want to see before you die?

Well, trance (genre of electronic) literally puts me in a trance, but most of electronic music moves me. This might sound weird, but Hans Zimmer's movie soundtracks (Inception and Interstellar) make me raise the volume and press the earphones into the ears.

TTPBM, do you think Mars is habitable?

message 21128: by Sharadha (last edited Jun 12, 2018 08:41AM) (new)

Sharadha Jayaraman (jayaras) | 1795 comments Well, I do think that Earth is oversaturated; so that makes the idea of living on Mars congenial.

Same?

message 21129: by Yash (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments Mars doesnt have much potential for sustained living (no evidence otherwise yet.) If people can live there, they'd need supplies (water, food) brought to them, as they're hard to produce/find there. Maybe a scenario like the setting of The Martian might come about in another 20-30 years. But I think we shouldnt waste too much energy on it.

TTPBM, Matt Damon or Ryan Reynolds (acting chops)?

message 21133: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments sub-shelves in CR? at most one reads 3-4 books at the same time and I don't see why that should be a crowd. correct me if I got something wrong.

same?

message 21134: by Yash (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments True, seems to be an ambiguous question. I'm reading 3 at the moment.

TTPBM, thoughts about the 'Kim-Trump Summit'? 😂🙃

message 21135: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments I have not been reading up on that in paper the last 2-3 days. At most, NK would stop its nuclear weapons testing in exchange for peace in the region which means US would stop joint military training operations with SK. Or Trump might spoil everything over something that he thinks is non-negotiable. He seems capable of that.

message 21136: by Yash (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments Heh forgive me for taking this lightly, but I think Kim agreed just so that North Korea could have a McDonald's. 😉

TTPBM, been somewhere out of India? How would you compare the two places (if there is any scope)?

I had, at one point, more than 10 CRs lol. Even recently nearly 7. I had to create two separate shelves to sort out active and inactive CRs 😜

I've most recently been to Singapore. There are pros and cons where scope is concerned. India, at least Mumbai where I live, has improved a lot in the last couple of years so I'm not complaining. Of course, there's always scope of more structure, hard work (Indians are so lazy, me included), organisation, and better governance, but that debate can go on and on.

By and large, I believe that any place abroad is good for earning money, but heart is where home is. One may experience a better standard of living abroad but they'll relish a better culture of living here.

Did I just go off topic?

Same?

message 21139: by Yash (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments Not at all, that's a great answer!

Sadly I don't have a single visa stamp on my passport yet, but I'm hoping to go places in the future.

Same?

message 21140: by Selva (new)

Selva | 3391 comments I have been to Canada n US on short trips. The standard of living and the climate is so better, given a choice, I wouldn't have come back. Very few people want to come back once they have the option to settle down there.

ur fav band/Musician?

message 21141: by Yash (last edited Jun 17, 2018 08:50AM) (new)

Yash (vyash2k) | 809 comments Band ---> Coldplay, Queen, Maroon 5 (its hard to even shortlist those three, I love so many bands)

Same?

message 21146: by Sharadha (new)

Sharadha Jayaraman (jayaras) | 1795 comments I'd say Messi, Iniesta or Ozil but I'm really more of a team person.

TTPBM: Which match have you enjoyed watching the most in the WC2018? (skip if you don't follow the WC)

message 21149: by Sharadha (new)

Sharadha Jayaraman (jayaras) | 1795 comments Yes, I would. If it's hideous, then I'll beat myself up a bit.

TTPBM: Are you watching England vs Tunisia tonight?

message 21150: by Yash (new)
