@Shruti- Rani Padmavati was better known as Padmini. She was the queen of Chittor or Chittorgarh. We have all heard of the Rani padmini palace which was named after her!As far as I know most of the characters and indicidents that have been cited in the film are real!

@ Sucharita - Yes, totally. There was this show on Netflix called Ekaant and Sanrachna. I watched all the episodes and loved it. Ekaant was so much better though. :)
