message 19191: by Lovesfrost (last edited Oct 14, 2017 06:39AM) (new)

Lovesfrost | 2224 comments It's just like any other day the only difference is the fact that the next day is a holiday.:)

ttpbm: you think burning crackers which leads to noise pollution should be banned because it scares the stray animals ?

message 19192: by Bishwaraj (new)

Bishwaraj Dey | 246 comments I have no opinion on this. I personally don't enjoy burning crackers. But I am not opposed to burning crackers as long as people are careful about it.

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea. Just like young babies, animals become disoriented with loud noises and bright lights. So people should be kind and refrain from bursting crackers. :)

Interesting, we need to get a permit if we are doing anything of that sort. We also need to get permission from our neighbours if we are going to be partying past 2am. Is that the case with you guys?

message 19198: by Sucharita (new)

Sucharita Paul Tiwari | 788 comments @Reena- But i guess there should be one as air pollution due to firecrackers is turning out to be major health hazard especially in metropolitan cities like Delhi. I personally think fire crackers should be banned.

I agree, I heard in the news last year how the pollution level in Delhi was dangerously high after Diwali last year! People aren't concerned about their health? :(
