message 1057: by [deleted user] (new)

I have a seminar first thing in the morning tomorrow, for which I'll have to get prepared. Yes, I know. Me and my boring life.

TTPBM: How strict are you about not working on Sundays?

message 1058: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 23, 2011 11:48PM) (new)

TTPBM: Same

message 1059: by Shreeya (new)

Shreeya (outsider) | 69 comments I try my best not to. In previous roles where there was a lot of work to take home, I'd rather stay back weeknights to finish something off rather than bring work home as of a weekend. However, you do what you've got to do.

TTPBM: What brought you to this forum?

message 1061: by [deleted user] (last edited Apr 24, 2011 07:04AM) (new)

TTPBM: Same question

message 1062: by Muddle head (new)

Muddle head (adic) | 4646 comments Not exactly, Mondays are the days i seem more hopeful, as i have an entire week ahead to change certain things, but then by Friday nothing changes and that's wen i get depressed!

TTPBM: Fav genre of movies?

message 1063: by Meenakshi (new)

Meenakshi (mcoolshi) | 1965 comments Mansee wrote: "Tanu Weds Manu (@ Meenakshi - Avatar??? that was like ages ago...not much of a movie buff??)"
Actually I like watching movies but not the hindi ones because mostly they are about crap and if not, then they have songs that talk about crap so no hindi for me until its really good with good songs.
All the good english movies come with the adult tag in the theaters so I can't watch them there, thats
why no movie since Avatar.

Fav Genre:
Different (I wonder if thats a genre?!!??)
I like movies that are different from all other movies and have their own approach be it a romantic movie, or an action packed comedy the genre remains the same a different genre.....something that has never been made or seen before.

once - only for 10 minutes or so. Along with a couple of panicky patients and a non-working lift phone and alarm. I proudly played the role of the 'saviour' by calling my husband via my mobile and asking him to inform the workmen about our plight.

Can't help answer this qstn, once i was on my bike talking with a cousin on my mobile with ear-phones plugged in! I suddenly panicked and told my cousin, "Listen, i just remembered, i forgot my mobile at office, need to go back, bye!" For a sec, she thought i was actually giving a bahaanaa to disconnect the call, before she remembered my famous "memory loss"

TTPBM: one of your childhood pranks

message 1088: by Muddle head (new)

Muddle head (adic) | 4646 comments not sure if it's a prank, wen i was 6 yrs old, the first thing i do after waking up in the morning is sneak up to the dining table and lick the small ghee dish completely clean while dad is immersed in his newspaper and mom in the kitchen! Come lunch time, no one knew wer all the ghee had gone! Now ofcourse they knew, at least by looking at my paunch!

message 1095: by Mansee (new)

Mansee | 2037 comments If I have taken an off on a working day - it may be for a reason (Marriage/ceremonies/attending to some body /some other work) so I will be doing that...the other reason may be I am on a sick leave which means, I will be resting at home ...I can never take a holiday just like that :(

TTPBM: On Long weekends, you stay at home or go for small weekend holidays?

message 1096: by Muddle head (new)

Muddle head (adic) | 4646 comments Depends, the weekends always seem either too long to me or too short. That means i either do nothing and bore myself to death or i try to cramp a hectic holiday into a small weekend!

message 1098: by Muddle head (new)

Muddle head (adic) | 4646 comments Many a times. I don't believe in these different type of leaves for private companies! I'd rather gobble up all my leaves! This year, i hadn't taken a single day off till march 11, the day i was in US. And in the past one month i had taken 8 days off and am gonna take another 7 days off in the next 2 months!
