Ahtims (embeddedinbooks) | 47123 comments Mod
Not a song, but a poem, and this one describes my mood day in and day out
Today I'd like to sit and read
Forget I have a job I need
Ignore the things I have to do
And just enjoy a book or two

message 9764: by Luffy Sempai (new)

Luffy Sempai (luffy79) Part of About A Girl (Nirvana fan here)

I need an easy friend
I do whip her in to land
I do think you fit this shoe
I do won't you have a clue

I'll take advantage while
You hang me out to dry
But I can't see you every night
No I can't see you every night
Free
I do
I do
I do
I do

I do not pretend to know what the meaning is, but my mood fits the mood of the song.

ttpbm : same, of course.

@Abhay - :/ Hm, not your best quip. O positive, for trying.:P

"Out the door just in time
Head down the 405
Gotta meet the new boss by 8 a.m.
The phone rings in the car
The wife is workin' hard
She's running late tonight again

Well
I know what I've been told,
You got to work to feed the soul
But I can't do this all on my own
No, I know, I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman

You've crossed the finish line
Won the race but lost your mind
Was it worth it after all

I need you here with me
Cause love is all we need
Just take a hold of the hand that breaks the fall

Well I know what I've been told
Gotta break free to break the mold
But I can't do this all on my own
No I can't do this all on my own
I know that I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman
I'm no Superman"

message 9766: by [deleted user] (new)

Imagine me and you, I do
I think about you day and night
It's only right
To think about the girl you love
And hold her tight
So happy togetheeerrrrrrr
:)

Doesn’t describe my mood but has been stuck in my head since last night, I should have known not to watch Minions before going to sleep. :)

Luffy Sempai (luffy79) Mauritius is an okay place. The religions from India have evolved into a friendlier version here. I've been to Delhi and Mumbai. I'm a fan of Jerry too.

Am I the only Indian girl in this world who Isn't in love with Salman? :p I don't hate him though, because he's the most "human" celebrity out there. Everyone else is always playing the role of an actor/actress.

@Green – I only remember one reoccurring dream from my younger days, and that was of a giant cat trying to get into my house.
Anyone wanna analyze???

"Success is counted sweetest
By those who ne'er succeed.
To comprehend a nectar
Requires sorest need.

Not one of all the purple Host
Who took the Flag today
Can tell the definition
So clear of victory

As he defeated – dying –
On whose forbidden ear
The distant strains of triumph
Burst agonized and clear!" Emily Dickinson

Aditya Jain | 4115 comments Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

BY ROBERT FROST

Whose woods these are I think I know.

His house is in the village though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound’s the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

Jarvis The Cloths of Heaven

Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light;
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

W. B. Yeats

And also stopping by the woods on a snowy evening :)
