My colleague and I had gone for an induction to this HR girl and she had a very funny hairstyle...which my colleague pointed out and made some very silly remarks when she was out of earshot...when she was giving her presentation, for some reason - she was only looking at me while presenting,,,,I happened to catch my colleagues eye and he again looked at her hairstyle and mumbled something ....I could not stop and burst out laughing....the girl was shocked and I was embarassed...actually feeling bad for her...so I cooked up a story about something else related to what she was presenting on...and she thankfully looked convinced and we survived...

Once I was talking about my two friends to my husband, forgetting that my son was playing at earshot distance.Both the ladies in question were very outgoing, gossipy, sort of putting their noses in others' affaris - almost twin souls, but hated each other and used to crib about each other. I was remarking that both are alike, then why are they not friends or something of the kind. When we went to one of the ladies house, my son innocently asked,'mother you were saying this aunty is exactly like that aunty in many ways, but she is thin while other is fat". I was stumped and didnot know what to answer.
