Michelle Gilmore I have question, which I know it's probably very silly, but how does one return ebooks to the lender when done reading them?

Michelle Gilmore Let me clarify, how do I return a book that was loaned to me, but not through B&N?

Scott | 292 comments I think that it just automatically goes back after the lending period.

How was it loaned to you? If you're talking about a Nook book, I think it has to be through B&N, and you can return it through your B&N library.

Library books can be returned through ADE.

Kristen Umansky | 4 comments I think she means the epub lending. Which i have yet to figure out how you all are doing that. Does the epub actually remove itself from your nook/computer? Or are you just emailing a person the file, which is more like file sharing and not lending. I have a lot of epubs myself (although not as many as you all, i have maybe 50), so I'd be curious how it all works.

I think anything that isn't done through B&N (or a library) would be file-sharing and isn't "returned" in any meaningful sense.

I'm not sure if the file is removed; I'm guessing you just lose access to it while it's on loan. I've only been on the receiving end.
