The flower one is actually easier than it sounds. I typed in all kinds of words from my book titles and found flowers that match on Google.

There's an angel flower, ghost flower, river flower, magic flower, midnight flower... pretty much just pick a word from the title and search!

(Nightshade is a cool, killer flower though!!)

Part 1: April

A. Read one book for each letter of the month of April. (5 pts per letter)
A – Artichoke’s Heart by Suzanne Supplee
P – The Penderwicks: A Summer Tale of Four Sisters, Two Rabbits, and a Very Interesting Boy by Jeanne Birdsall
R – Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry by Mildred Taylor (+5 historical)
I – I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (+5 sci-fi)
L – A Little Wanting Song by Cath Crowley

B. Read a book that celebrates the Earth. (10 pts)
The Carbon Diaries 2015 by Saci Lloyd (+5 dystopian)

C. Read a humorous book in honor of April Fool's Day. (10 pts)
King of the Mild Frontier by Chris Crutcher (+5 non-fiction)

D. Read a book where the main character is a patriot. (10 pts)

Part 2: May
