I liked it how they all held their wands up when Dumbledore died in the 6th movie. It was a really nice touch.

I love Harry's character - more so because we often see he is flawed, but I agree about annoying characters in general. Usually if the protagonist(s) continually bothers me, I end up not liking the book at all, though I think it's realistic when most characters have at least a couple "stupid" moments.
