Sarah | 13814 comments How did the chocolate ricotta come out????
Yum.

Last night I made linguini with pesto, asparagus, goat cheese, and portabella mushrooms. We ate it with raspberry lambic out on the porch. It was a gorgeous evening! Then we had hazlenut gelato with cinammon graham crackers for dessert. Happy Sarah.

Herb salad, including watercress, topped with the following which has been gently sauteed: button mushrooms, brussels sprouts, peapods. A sprinkling of romano cheese and a very light caesar vinaigrette.

message 319: by [deleted user] (new)

Mcdonalds Big Mac, Quarter Pounder, and Grilled Chicken sandwich. And a small order of fries and McFlurry.

I did. Three hours of running around a track seems to expand your stomach.

Lyzzibug ~Still Breathing~ (lyzzibug) | 708 comments I use to be able to sit down and eat two footlong hot dogs and two orders of tots from Sonic. Not so much anymore. Enjoy it while you can Esme.

message 325: by Sarah (new)

Sarah | 13814 comments Dinner last night and tonight (also lunch): kale, brown rice, and curried soybeans. The soybeans were a pre-spiced cheat-pack that Zu grabbed at Trader Joe's to try, but I mixed them into real food to make up for all the sodium if you eat a full serving. They're ok, but I like those same flavors (curry, cumin, cinnamon) better on chickpeas.

Brown rice with watercress, brussels sprouts, peapods, a little paneer, and an egg on top. All cooked together. It's not pretty, but it's really good.

It's funny, because when I bought the cheese it was labeled "panner." I had no idea what panner was, and googled it when I got home, and there was nothing on the internet about panner cheese. So then I ate some and realized it was paneer.

some of the best food doesn't look appetizing at all, like my mother's lasagna with spinach. heaven! but looks a bit like vomit.

message 335: by Jim (new)

message 336: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments no. i'm not easily disgusted.

message 337: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Probably makes for a cleaner place mat around you too.

::wonders how messy it might get if I tried to eat blindfolded::

message 338: by [deleted user] (new)

Eating out at Masa with friends. I'm not a fan of Japanese, but you can't argue with the rules of thumb war. Has anyone been there? Is it any good?

Félix (habitseven) Manwich. What the etymology of that term?

message 347: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Larry, I have no idea, and it's not on the Manwich homepage either, just says the product was introduced in 1969.

message 348: by Félix (new)
