I have no idea what we'll have. It's my son's birthday, but he's working so his b-day dinner has been postponed until Sunday. My wife and I will probably get fast food. I think she wants Indian cuisine.

Leftover beef and black bean chilli from yesterday - made into burritos probably. Leftovers always taste better the next day!
Mr evie is cooking a chicken (chook) Jamie Oliver style. Fresh herbs stuffed under the skin, plus a whole steamed lemon stuffed in the cavity (as my dear deceased mum called the rear end of the bird.) Bake it, carve it and serve with some special gravy flavoured with some purple onions. Side of fresh steamed broccoli, carrots and potatoes (spuds.)
"Indonesian" style chicken (marinated in honey, cumin, garam masala, turmeric, cayenne, rice wine vinegar and a few other things). On a bed of couscous.
Table5 frozen pizza, pepperoni. Eh. Decent but not exciting. As far as frozen pizzas go, not bad.
Out for a Thai - yes! Chicken yellow curry for me with a little extra red chilli and two glasses of red wine. My usual order - the restaurant owner knows it back to front.
Making a very spicy jerk chicken with lots of roast veggies on the side - trying to up the veg count in all of the dishes I've been making recently.
Ok so the jerk chicken turned into hot fajitas with soft tortillas and a sharp Cheddar - I just altered the spices a bit. Probably my best 'home cook' in a few days though. Digesting over some Malbec. Birthday tomorrow so dinner out is a posh fish pie out in some country pub with a roaring fire and I sure ain't paying. Dare say I'll be having a bit of Shiraz. Busy times - planning hard.
Slow cooking a casserole as we/I speak - chicken thighs, potatoes, sweet potatoes and butternut squash, carrots, wholegrain mustard, smoked garlic, red onion, vegetable stock and wine! Fingers crossed!
Something fairly soft. Broke a tooth. Waiting on dentist office to call back. ALWAYS on the weekend!!! Grrrr.
Thai green chicken curry, lots of veg, jasmine rice and noodles - very hungry (don't know if he is but I am). Cooking soon just stalling and book browsing again!
