I have been to that one but we were at the one on Briarcliff. We go to the one in Vinings the most of all.
Eating out is fun, but I get tired of it when we travel...
I never get tired of eating out. I'm sure if I were a great cook I'd get tired of it, but I'm lazy and my cooking abilities are low. Bring on the restaurants.
We ate out more when we lived in Minneapolis. The possibilities were endless. In Iowa, we learned to cook.
Filet mignon wrapped in thick cut peppered bacon, roasted red potatoes and broccoli.

Tonight I am entertaining my Aunt and Uncle, along with Mom and baby brother. Dr. Cynthia and Daughter #2 will join us late, they have work/school.I wanted to fix shrimp, so a got out my Junior League cookbook from San Francisco (circa 1970) and of course, there were shrimp recipes galore. I chose Shrimp with Black Bean Sauce.
I think I will serve noodles or white rice, probably rice as my mother adores it. A little salad and we should be set. Oh, and white wine, naturally.
If you were coming, I'da left off the beef, maybe some nice grilled portobello or something. :)
The mister loves it when I do those, olive oil, garlic, a little sea salt...
Come on then!

I think I've had pork chops maybe three times in my life. Maybe I've never had a really great one, I didn't understand what the big deal was.
I'll only eat the loin chops, with all the fat trimmed off.
Something fast and easy, I don't feel like cooking. At all. I have some microwave Thai noodles, or a Delish frozen dinner. Mixed nuts for an appetizer. A Pink Lady apple for dessert.
The other night I made Shrimp with Black Bean sauce. Just posted the recipe on my review of "San Francisco a la Carte: A Cookbook by the Junior League of San Francisco."It was a great dish to share with my aunt and uncle.
Pork chops rule. Coat them with some cajun seasoning, sear them brown, then simmer in bourbon and brown sugar.
Cornish hens, rice and asparagus. I made an apple raspberry crumble for dessert with some Haagen Dazs vanilla for the side.
We're having friends over. The mister woulda just got ice cream. :)

Ramen, for the third day in a row. ^.^ I plan on indulging tomorrow night...make a trad. über greasy egg and mozzarella sandwich. WOOT!
I was hungry two hours after my Roti sandwich so I made sticky rice with onions, cilantro and hot pepper flakes in my microwave rice cooker. It only takes two minutes less than on the stove (18 min. vs. 20 min.) but somehow it just seems simpler and easier. Go figure.
So good.
So good.
I always get nachos at baseball games.Stupid broken thread. I still want that jamocha shake from several pages ago.
I think someone is deleting posts in here. We jumped from May 8 to May 13. I know people have posted their meals in that chunk of time.
I have some lamb in the slow cooker with celery ,tomatoes, carrots and sweet potatoes. Plus a recipe base that has herbs and garlic.I'll serve it with steamed potatoes and peas.

Thai, I think. Honey always takes me out after the anti-coag clinic appointments. 4 weeks, here I come! I can't wait to be able to shave my legs like a normal person!!
