We're having marinated steak.

Larry, do you like to prepare the butterflied chicken on the grill or in the oven?

message 2859: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments We are out of leftovers finally, so I may just go to the store on the way home and pick up a roasted chicken.

message 2860: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Mrs. Phil had a rumbly tummy this morning, so I know I won't be making anything spicy. Too, I will need to prep something I can do with one hand, as my other will be busy holding my grandson.

Suggestions?

message 2861: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Watcha got in the house?

message 2862: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Not a lot, but I need to get some infant Anbesol so I'll be able to pick something up this morning.

We do have the standard stuff for making soup. I'm not in a soup mood, though, so I'm looking for something easy on the tummy but not soup.

Wow, that's a clunky sentence.

message 2863: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments Hmmm. Mac-n-cheese? Pinto beans (way easy to do one handed)?

I am slightly hungry for soup, now.

message 2864: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments ::checks to see if there's enough cheese::

Either/both. Since I have no grill where I live now, it gets done in the oven. Someday I will have a grill again.

message 2883: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Oh, Gas GRILL. We have a couple of Weber charcoal grills. They get a good workout when it's a tad warmer outdoors.

Jim | 6484 comments Félix wrote: "See 3059."

That solution was probably easier on the digestive system.

Just had leftover meatloaf but I'm still hungry. Might be forced to cook some noodles.

message 2887: by CD (new)

CD | 1577 comments Hamburger and steamed broccoli were on the menu this p.m.

Home grown (not mine, but a friends) beef and the broccoli came from the grocery store.

Some other stuff too not really worth mentioning unless you were counting the Oreo's I consumed.
