Crumbed fish with baked potato, carrot and pumpkin and steamed beans. My daughter didn't like it, so she made herself some pasta.
I've never known anyone to actually eat pumpkin. We carve them for Halloween. And we buy some paste in a can to make pie...

For reals?!
So, I'm making "Winter Squash Pie" on Wednesday night? Hope the firefolks like Winter Squash pie, 'cause that's what they're getting this year!

I'm thinking about making something light...possibly just grilled chicken salad or something. Gotta keep the kitchen in pristine condition for tomorrow. I'm more than likely going to be up at the crack of dawn cooking :)
I have nothing for dinner tonight!!::in a panic, starts to scramble about for cheese and crackers, maybe some cereal::
Me either, Felarry. Just don't feel like pork guts...sheep guts, cow guts or chicken guts for that matter. I think guts are generally off the menu for tonight.
Trying to decide on a proper breakfast, or a big piece of leftover raspberry & blackberry pie...
Oooops, wrong thread. Thought this was the "last thing you ate" thread. Sorry.
Leftovers. However, we had spaghetti carbonara for Thanksgiving dinner. :)
Not sure yet. We are heading down to Circular Quay tonight for a stroll around the harbour. We will probably get some food while we are there.
Planned: Minestrone. After cutting my thumb and still having to try to stop the bleeding I changed my mind to fusilli alla puttanesca. Requires no knife.
I had Steamables broccoli and a tablespoon or two of peanut butter. There's not much here to choose from, as we've been away a while. Even so, broccoli is a decent meal.
Jeepers, that's a feast! I wasn't hungry. Mr. Amy had to recycle the cold chicken.
Buffalo Chicken sandwiches!!!

Boiled jacket potatoes? I thought jacket potatoes were baked potatoes. Are jacket potatoes in fact any potato you do not peel?

That's what I call them . Perhaps I should have said "boiled in their jackets."
They are the little washed potatoes.
I didn't mean to insinuate that was weird or anything. I had only ever heard the term when I lived in England, and that was referring to baked. But, that didn't mean I wasn't missing part of the usual usage. I was just curious. Maybe you boiled them and then baked them? I might have learned some new culinary secret!

I left those jackets on because I was too lazy to peel them.
Romaine and spinach salad with red onions, chickpeas, beets, sliced almonds, feta cheese, red peppers.
No idea. We're going to "midreach" tonight, so whatever they make? We don't normally go, in fact I've never gone, so I have no idea how it works.

On my way to The Jerusalem Cafe! Woot!!! Falafel, here I come!
