Félix (habitseven) You're right. As usual.

Dirty rice, steamed cauliflower.

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments Ravioli.

message 2355: by [deleted user] (new)

Trying to decide if I'm going to cook something, or just drop by Geno's on my way home from the Dr. appt and grab some chicken caesar salad and a hummus plate...

Or, maybe I'll have a bowl of cereal and go to bed at 4pm like last night.

Riona (rionafaith) | 488 comments taco night!

message 2357: by [deleted user] (new)

Chicken & noodles. Basically a really thick chicken soup with egg noodles. Home made, with fresh baked bread. Unless I feel poorly later (though I'm feeling good today), then I'll just order pizza. Sissy and my niece are coming over, so cereal isn't an option. :)

message 2358: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Meatloaf. Yes, it's fall now. Our temps have been mid 70s for a while but will fall to the low 50s this weekend.

message 2359: by [deleted user] (new)

Meatloaf is good! I like to throw in a little Worcestershire sauce and a shot of horseradish for a kick. Then I smother it in ketchup when I eat it. :)

message 2360: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Chicken and veggie potstickers.

message 2361: by [deleted user] (new)

Mmmmm, Felarry. I LOVE them, but what a pain to make. The innards are easy, but I get bored sealing them all up. It's like making spanakopita...yawn.

message 2362: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I get mine frozen from Costco. Easy peasy.

message 2363: by [deleted user] (new)

Ohhhh. Are they good? Cause my homemade ones are seriously AWESOME and I'm not sure I could downgrade, even for peasy.

message 2364: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) They are good. I'm certain yours are seriously better, though.

I thought that said "chicken and veggie popsicles."

message 2366: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Potsicles. Colorado potsicles.

message 2367: by Chris (new)

Chris (bibliophile85) I am making the bachelor's feast of the gods!

Ramen noodles with a grilled cheese sandwich and a can of Sprite.

I wonder....did the kings of yore dine in such decadence? ;)

message 2368: by [deleted user] (new)

Ramen is only good if you top it with cheese!

message 2369: by Chris (new)

Chris (bibliophile85) I actually chop up some jalapenos and mix soy sauce into the stuff.....tastes alright. I'll have to try the cheese thing sometime.

message 2370: by [deleted user] (new)

Mmmm, cheese & jalopies would be GREAT! I'll try that!

janine | 7709 comments I made lasagna which was delicious. Also accidentally vegetarian.

message 2373: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I take it the delicious part was not accidental.

message 2374: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments I've never made lasagna before, so it might be.

I made one of those soups where you throw in all the leftovers.

message 2376: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Couldn't you just pour the leftovers in gently? What you did sounds messy.

message 2377: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24815 comments Mod
If you think it sounded messy, you don't know the half of it.

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments I dine alone tonight so I made peanut butter toast.

message 2380: by [deleted user] (new)

When Mr. Amy is away I love on PB toast and cereal, Evie. :)

Maybe fried chicken like grams used to make? Haven't decided for sure.

Probably not, they had to eat boar's head an' stuff. ;)

I will be having Texas chili tonight, courtesy of my mama, who loves me.

message 2382: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Are you sure?

message 2383: by Jammies (new)

Jammies That my mama loves me? Reasonably so...do you know something I don't? *worries*

message 2384: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments No idea what's for dinner. We're going to a surprise b-day party for a friend and the host decided on potluck.

I had cereal later, at about 2am, while I was waiting for my daughter to get home.

message 2391: by Riona (new)

Riona (rionafaith) | 488 comments I just started making biscuits and gravy at 9PM. I had a craving.

message 2392: by [deleted user] (new)

Fried chicken and a cinnamon pop 'em.

message 2393: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Amelia, thank you, but Felarry doesn't need to go behind the ficus--I was just teasing him!

And I have chili leftovers, enough for at least two more meals. Yum, yum, yum!

message 2394: by Riona (new)

Riona (rionafaith) | 488 comments Just ordered some Indian food. Lamb korma, mmmm!

message 2395: by [deleted user] (new)

Poor Larry. I think I was mashing up two threads and Ficusing him too harshly. Sorry Felarry!

*glomps Felarry*

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments Lobstergirl wrote: "Sorry?"

Hedgehogs are meatballs. The raw mixture includes uncooked rice.

When the meatballs are baked in diced tomatoes (tinned) the cooked rice is supposed to resemble the spines of a hedgehog. Mine sometimes look like road kill because they fall apart.
