Phil | 11850 comments I'm thinking oatmeal. Le sigh.

message 2252: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments We're having spaghetti bolognaise.

message 2253: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments Leftovers with a fresh green salad on the side.

message 2254: by [deleted user] (new)

I have Mr. Amy (his turn to cook) a choice between spaghetti bolognaise, Cornish hens or meatloaf (ground turkey). I think he picked Cornish hens.

Hominy.

message 2256: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments We had honey, soy, and garlic marinated chicken, with rice, peas and corn. A little bit under cooked by Mr evie. Not that I'm complaining.

message 2257: by [deleted user] (new)

Mr. Amy made beautiful Cornish hens last night, so I think I'll do the spaghetti tonight. I ordered some nice sourdough bread that will make lovely garlic bread. And, salad. I'm thinking Caesar.

message 2258: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments I have no idea what to make for dinner. Mrs. Phil got home last night from a trip, so the gang's all here. I guess I'd better come up with something, soon.

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments C'mon Phil, put on your apron and your bossyboots and get going. If all else fails, saute some onions. People will assume you've got it figured out.

message 2260: by Phil (last edited Oct 16, 2012 03:16PM) (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Oooh, good suggestion. Me likey. :)

::pulls on bossyboots::

message 2261: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Bossyboots and a nice apron are a great combo. They demand respect.

message 2262: by Phil (last edited Oct 16, 2012 04:33PM) (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Fajitas, dammit.

I'm making fajitas!

message 2263: by [deleted user] (new)

Mmmmm, good choice!

Lobstergirl | 24815 comments Mod
I needed to use some celery and radishes so I diced them into tuna salad and had a sandwich.

message 2265: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Dammit, where is Sally?

message 2266: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments I think we are having pan fried fish.

message 2267: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Getyourass in here! We'rehavingfajitas, dammit!

message 2268: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments You betchurass! And they were muy delicioso.

message 2269: by [deleted user] (new)

Ground turkey meatloaf with parmesan pasta. I'm outta taters.

message 2270: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments My youngest is burned out on canvassing and phone calls, Dr. C. is probably going to be late, this calls for some healthy comfort food. Got some pizza shells from the Italian market, caramelized onions, sauteed some red and orange pepper strips, ready to assemble some pizzas.

message 2271: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Same thing every thursday: plain bagel, toasted with butter and cream cheese.

message 2272: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments I made pancakes. Some with cheese, and some with apple slices.

message 2273: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I've never had cheese pancakes. Do you put maple syrup on them?

message 2274: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments I didn't put anything on them. The cheese alone already makes them delicious.

message 2275: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Gouda? Velveeta? Muenster?

message 2276: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments Gouda. And not the young, creamy stuff, more the middle-aged cheese.

message 2277: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I really like smoked gouda. I make grilled chicken salad and cheese paninis with it.

message 2278: by janine (new)

janine | 7709 comments That would work. You have to sandwich the cheese between two thin layers of pancake batter. Otherwise it sticks to the pan .

message 2279: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Interesting.

message 2280: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments Now I feel like pancakes .

message 2281: by Emily (new)

Emily E (emily_e1) | 1032 comments Now I feel like cheese.

message 2282: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Please pass the cheese.

message 2283: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments I'm thinking I might make a pie. An egg, bacon, spinach, and tomato pie appeals to me. I may put some radishes in a salad and have that on the side.

We were talking radishes somewhere then I had to buy some.

message 2284: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Rice Krispies.

message 2285: by Laurin (new)

Laurin (llooloo) | 1867 comments Soup. Biscuits and jelly.

message 2286: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments We are having extra lean, lime and pepper chicken sausages. The vegetables will be something green, something orange, and potato.

I will enjoy not cooking tonight.

message 2287: by [deleted user] (new)

No idea. Mr Amy is on the hook tonight.

message 2288: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Del Taco.

message 2289: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Cauliflower cheese?

message 2290: by [deleted user] (new)

Cauliflower WITH cheese, I'm pretty sure. Smarty.

message 2291: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24815 comments Mod
Chicken, penne, and alfredo sauce, green beans.

message 2292: by [deleted user] (new)

Nuthin. The boys are buying pizza for Halloween. I never want dinner when they do that. Mr. Amy will be on his own! (Good job there is leftover spaghetti & meatballs from last night!)

message 2293: by evie (new)

evie (ecie) | 4445 comments We had pizza last night! Tonight, it's lamb cutlets and vegetables.

message 2294: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Candy.

message 2295: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24815 comments Mod
No idea yet.

message 2296: by [deleted user] (new)

Either chicken & stuffing or chicken fajitas.

message 2297: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I'm making pork fried lice rice.

message 2298: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24815 comments Mod
Vegetable fried rice. The Chinese talk was driving me nuts, I had no choice.

message 2299: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11850 comments Spinach salad.

message 2300: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Toast. It was a long day and I'm exhausted. Tomorrow night will be comfort food--biscuits and sausage gravy.
