Oh boy, now I want lamb shanks. I'll have to cook them in my outdoor oven. Wait, I don't have an outdoor oven.

message 1913: by Phil (new)

Phil | 11852 comments We had meatloaf. I thought it would be too heavy for a summer night, but it was actually just fine.

Can I come to your house for dinner, Emily? Pleeeeeze?

message 1915: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments My youngest girl and I ate at Olive Garden yesterday. Our waitress was straight out of central casting: Young, sassy, hilarious. We called over her manager to tell him never let that one go. Freaking funny woman. But the food? Never again.

I'm debating whether to make shrimp and fennel saute. I'd have to go buy the shrimp and the fennel and I don't know if feel like doing that.

message 1917: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Internal debates are interesting to watch. Not.

message 1919: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh I'm just joshing.

message 1920: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments I really don't like fennel. Some people have a thing about Cilantro, I have a thing about fennel. But have at it, LG.

message 1921: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Flannel?

message 1922: by Cynthia (new)

No, no shrimp and fennel tonight. I'm too tired to cook. Just a very simple salad, maybe followed by a Liberty Ale, if I'm still awake.

message 1927: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Well? Are you still awake?

message 1928: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments LG: A simple salad sounds lovely. Will you fix me one? Dr. Cynthia seems to be off the premises for the time being. Oh, Well. I'm making an antipasto platter for he and I.

I think she is practicing to be Sally.

message 1938: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Good luck with that.

message 1939: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments So, has anyone heard from the Tardis/Catherine? I am kind of worried for her.

She was in a thread not too long ago - was it yesterday? I thought she mentioned Xanax or something.

message 1941: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I have not.

Nevermind, that was Cynthia and Sally having a conversation about Xanax in the Springsteen thread. Not Tardis. Whenever I see the word Xanax I immediately assume it's Tardis.....
