How did this turn out, Amber?

Yesterday,I cooked lamb shanks in the slow cooker for dinner tonight. I used a Moroccan recipe base and added tomato paste, diced tomatoes and chick peas.

It came out surprisingly well. I used two different kinds of soup ("beefy mushroom" and "golden mushroom") and it had really good flavor and the meat was falling apart. A definite win in the experimental dinner category.

Tonight we're grilling hamburgers to have a nice relaxed date night while my roommates are off doing wedding stuff. Plus, I need to relax before the big first day of work tomorrow. Cheeseburgers and hard cider are a nice way to chill.

A yummy success story! Enjoy those burgers and cider too. Have a great first day tomorrow !
