Sometimes I just eat a bag of vegetables, too.

Leftovers. Of what, I'm not sure. Probably just a mash-up of whatever is still safe to eat in our fridge.
Pepperoni pizza and for dessert I used leftover Bran muffins to make low-sugar strawberry shortcake.

I usually have hedgehogs if I have no frickin' clue what to make
Barb wrote: "I'm kind of afraid asking, but What are Hedgehogs? A cute name for something, or actual hedgehogs?"A cute Aussie name for meatballs.
Mrs. Phil makes meatballs with rice. The rice sticking out makes it look prickly. Is that a hedgehog?
Phil wrote: "Mrs. Phil makes meatballs with rice. The rice sticking out makes it look prickly. Is that a hedgehog?"Yup, yup!

When I was growing up we called that 'toad in a hole.' My husband calls it 'moon over Miami.' Very tasty.

Barb wrote: "No clue. It's just going to be Mr.Barb and myself for dinner, so we could do something special ... but what?"Something that involves someone else cooking is always a treat

Yep. a good friend's mom, alzheimers plus stroke. The really sad one was the second one--age 61--cardiac complications that started out with flu-like symptoms. Yikes.
evie wrote: "Zucchini bread is an interesting dessert choice. It sounds savoury."Well... It can be, but this time its made with lots of brown sugar :)
But I have a recipe for zucchini cheese bread that I want to try next time I fix soup.
