Either cauliflower soup or cauliflower "mashed potatoes."

I'll have to try that casserole. Or some version of it. I don't think I can deal with that much shredded cheddar.
Probably soup tonight. Or tamales if Mrs. Phil would prefer. They're frozen, not homemade fresh like we used to have.
We had the soup, and I made some blueberry muffins to go with it. Mrs. Phil loooooved it. The father-in-law grumbled, "that's not supper."Yeah? Then make your own.
I think he's feeling old. Also, he spent the afternoon watching a WWII documentary, which always depresses him. I was in the other room and kept hearing Hitler shouting to his supporters.
Those WWII documentaries always seem to cheer up my father. The thing that puts him in a funk is football, when his team loses.
Special birthday dinner for my husband: New York strip steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes and carrots with homemade honey butter glaze.
An old topic, but still a good one....Barbecued chicken, yellow rice, and string beans. And Fudge Brownie ice cream.
I will. The hot and sour soup worked quite well for clearing the head. I’m feeling much less stuffy now. :)
I agree with Phil's father in law. Soup and muffins does not a supper make.
I had tacos al pastor and now I'm eating chocolate cookies.

I was going to make bbq chicken, but now I have to drive out to my mom's house and I won't get home until after 9. So, fast food it is.
I am using my crock pot for the THIRD time ever... Taco Soup will be waiting for me when I go home. Can't wait!
I have no idea. My wife is taking her sister to "girls' night out" at Iggy's restaurant. The boys? We're on our own. I'm hoping my brother-in-law will take his son and 'grandpa' to the same joint so it will be quiet here for just a few moments.
I don't know....I'm waiting for my stomach ache to end, then maybe I'll have a bagel and some tea.
My wife is having the rest of the steak she didn't finish last night. My son asked for the rest of mine, so I'm going with mashed sweet potato. And yes, that will be my entire dinner.
A cream of broccoli soup I found at Costco, with some rosemary & olive oil bread from the same source.Costco lunch, Costco dinner.
A waffle, absolutely smothered in fresh raspberries and blueberries, with a touch (just a touch) of maple syrup and a glass of milk.
See, I don't get the combining of fruit and syrup. It seems to me like you have one or the other. For me, it's always syrup.
In this case, the syrup was a softening agent for the waffle. Not that I make hard waffles, just that I like them a little squishier.
We're going to the Dickens Festival tonight, so I have no idea what I'll be eating. The whole Dickens thing is really just a shopping event with the same vendors as most of the other holiday shows at our convention center. The difference is that they keep it darker and they have a set path through the shops. It's meant to resemble an evening stroll through an old English shopping district. They also have carolers.
