"Wherever is safe." Penny said shortly.Lucky picked up his stick again, then trotted back to camp. Dragging the stick behind him.
averil nodded "i dont think its safe anywhere." emma continued to walk, she walked into a area that was once a medow and emma froze across the medow was a black bear staring straght at her. emma slowly reached for her talkie
"averil." she said eith fear in her voice "theres a bear," she talked into the walkie, and the bear charged. "AVERIL!!" she screamed
averil grabed the talkie "shoot it emma." averil told her.
emma droped the talkie and pionted the gun at the bear.
'boom'
averil heard "emma, emma" averil said into the talkie "emma." and averil took off running
"I'll be right back." Penny said quickly to her friends, then sprinted after Averil. Whistling for Lucky to follow her.
averil kept calling emma on the walkie but no reply. averil ran down the road and into the woods.emma had droped the walkie and shot the bear in the leg but that only stoped it for a min the bear strated to get up and come at emma when buck jumped on the bear and started tearing at it, emma franticly grabed her blade and rifle, she sisnt want to shoot buck

Mael mentally facepalmed, shifting so he could face to girl better, pulling down his mask.
"Your n..."
Fingering the row of studs in his ear, he made a face. "Does it look like it?"
Penny followed Averil and the sound of the action, until they reached the clearing. "ooooh." She winced a little, then pulled out her gun and aimed.
emma screamed as the bear flung buck off.averil bursted in to the clearing and looked around she heard emma scream and ran in the direction it came from. "emma?"averil yelled
the bear looked up as it heard averils voice and emma shot it again.
Penny watched as the bear stumbled, but kept coming. Setting her jaw, she shot the bears head. Blood streamed down the bears fur, matting it in a bloody disgusting mess.
The bear collapsed, and Penny shot it once more to be on the safe side.
emma stub up as averil ran to her, "are you ok?" averil asked franticly. emma nodded "im fine, averil calm down." and averil nodded.
emma walked over to the girl "thank you."
Penny nodded and put her gun away. "Your dog alright?" She asked as she walked over to the bear.
buck walks over and growls at the bear. averil nodded"it will take alot more then a bear to stop him." she said and walkes over to the bear too.
emma follows
"Hm." Penny looked over at Lucky and shoved his nose away from the bear. "Hey, watch it." Her mind was already working through how much meat there was on the bear, and how long it would last.
averil watched penny, then averil grabed her blade and wlked over to the bear and started striping the far carfully.
"Hey, don't to that yet! Do you two want to join our group? We're just traveling further west. Trying to find a safe place. The more people, the easier to survive. What do you say?" Penny asked.
averil thought about it, "we have been here a while and we have thing hidded places, valuble things. i dont really know if we can leave." averil told her
"Oh." Penny nodded. "Then what do you say to taking the bear over to my camp, cutting it up, splitting the meat between my group and you two, and cooking it. One of our group is amazing at making jerky.... It'll last a while."
averil nodded "ok, that sounds ok but we keep the pelt." averil told her "emma go get the 4-wheeler" averil addedemma nodded and ran to get the 4 wheeler, it was a good thing she had packed everything already. emma drove the 4-wheeler back to the bear.
"Fine with me." Penny smiled a little, thinking how lucky they were to have a 4-wheeler. When Emma came with the vehicle, Penny prepared to lift up the gigantic, heavy bear. "You two ready?"
emma and averil nodded "ok on the count of three. one, two, three..." averil said and liftedemma lifted too
Penny groaned and lifted the bear. Shuffling forward, she adjusted her grip and started carefully sliding it into the 4-wheeler. Her grip slipping on the bloody fur of the bear.
averil smiled when they got it on the 4-wheeler, did you pack everthing?" she asked emma
"yeah, i do it every day." emma told her
averil nodded "ok then lets go." she said and got on the 4-Wheeler "go fet the other one emma" she told her
emma ran to the other 4-wheeler and drove it to the clearing "want a ride?" she asked the girl as buck jumped in the back cart.
"Sure." Penny slipped into the car, then shifted as Lucky jumped on her lap. "Alright."
averil took the lead and they moved fast throught the woods, and emma followed behind her.when they broke out of the wood averil slowed down and pulled around her gun, and she slowly made her way to pennys camp.
Penny leaned back in her chair, and watched as they approached her camp. "You're probably going to scare my friends.... can I run out ahead?"
emma nodded "sure, and noone goes near the supply cart, you might want to tell them that." she said and slowed to a stop to let her jump out
"Yup. Got it." Penny hopped out, and ran to her camp. "Hey, everyone behave. Stay away from their supply cart. They're friends."
averil stop one she was on the edge of there camp and emma pulled in right nezt to her. "ok." averil said
"Now, we can use some help getting the bear to the fire. Come on." With bright smiles, two of her team went with Penny to go help unload the bear.
averil watchd as they took the bear, she kept sweeping the srounding area incase someone was going to attack them for the foodemma walked over to the fire
They dropped the bear by the fire, and Penny glanced over at Averil. "Hey, we have a guard up already."She turned her attention to the bear, and started to skin it.
averil nodded and watched her skin the bear, "plz dont runin the hide." averil askedemma gave averil a look then looked at penny "sorry about my sister she always is thinking, but never filters her mouth.
Penny smiled a little. "No, it's fine. What are you going to use the hide for?"
"to either trade on the market, or to use as a blanket." averil told heremma looked around at pennys people
Penny nodded. "That's cool. How much meat do you want?" She really hoped they said something reasonable. Cause she had more people with her, and they were already getting the pelt.
averil looked at the bear, "about half." she said the same time emma said "averil." averil looked at emma "what?"
emma looked at her, and averil sighed "fine whatever, im going to go look for gas." averil said and walked away.
emma sighed as averil walked away, "sorry again, umm... how about 1 third" emma asked
"Hey, we're doing all the work here. I killed it, we're skinning it, gutting it, cutting it up, cooking it.... how about you get 1/4? You're also getting the pelt...." Penny glanced through her bangs up at Emma.
emma watched her, "you offered to cut it and cook it, you didnt have to kill it i could have, we could have cut it and cooked it, and you would not have any if you did not follow my sister. and i thought i was being pretty nice giving you move then half." emma said
Penny sighed and looked at the bear. Calculating how much that would leave her band of people and dog. "Fine..."
emma nodded "ok." averil walked around a factory she could hear people talking so she walked to the voices slowly.
Penny finished skinning the bear, and set it aside. Even just the pelt was heavy. "Here." She went back and started to gut the beast. Letting the dogs have whatever wasn't as edible for humans. Why give the dogs the good stuff?
emma shook her head. "when your starving you eat everything." she told her pointing at the guts. emma took the pelt and layed it out to dry.
"The dogs need to eat also. I'm not giving them the good stuff. They can have the guts. Lucky is useful enough to keep him, but I'm not giving him the good stuff." Penny said, glancing over at Lucky before returning to gutting the beast.
emma nodded "ok, so what are you going to do with the bones?"
"The dogs." Penny answered shortly
emma nodded then sighed, "i hate this."
"Hate what? This world? Me too." Penny frowned at the bear, and started slicing the meat up.
emma nodded "i wish it would all go back." ((gtg)
((ok))"Yeah..." With a faraway look in her eyes, Penny started remembering the old days again. She usually didn't try to think about any of that. It made her depressed remembering having her family, having an actual house, having a big comfy bed, and having a chef in the house that could cook amazingly well and serve you up whatever you want, whenever you want.

Lix sighed and shook her head. "What are you two doing here?"
"hes so cute, averil, he big with black, white, and brown fur." emma responded over the walkie
"ok hes someones dog." averil told her.
emma smiled and began walking through the woods again, somthing made a noise again and emma made sure her gun was loaded
