I finished Anna's Gift by Emma Miller. I also started day before yesterday The Lord Is My Shepherdand finished it this morning.
Just finished Linda Goodnight's The Christmas Child. As always a wonderful read from Linda. I found it interesting that although this is clearly one of a series, at no point in the story did I get any sense of being fed a dump of information about prior storylines or characters. Just wasn't needed here. Lovely.
I am now reading Bridge of Scarlet Leaves by Kristina McMorris and it is sooo good!! Grabs you right from the first page and does not let go!! What an awesome story!!
You guys are making me jealous with all of your reading! I had a birthday girl this past week, so I've been so busy with birthday plans, I haven't had a chance to read lately. :(

Dream, in the end, what's more important? The smile on the face of that birthday girl or reading one more book? I'm betting when you do settle down to read, there will be a smile on your face. :)
Finished Yesterday's Tomorrow by Cathy West (can't comment because I'm judging the INSPY awards). Now reading Case of Desire by Jacquelin Thomas, a Kimani title. I've got a stack of LIs lying in wait.
Finished Tina Radcliffe's Oklahoma Reunion. Very pleasant romance. Interesting that Ryan's only real conflict was convincing Kait to give him a chance. Now reading Gwyneth Bolton's Ready for Love.
I just finished reading two books. Christmas Witness by Susan Slees and A Stolen Life: A Memoir by Jaycee Lee Dugard. Both very good books in their own rites. Jaycee's was very powerful and I felt such rage toward her captor. I really enjoyed Susan's book also and will be posting a reviews as it gets closer to Christmas.
I'm reading Lisa Jordan's Lakeside Reunion and Siri Mitchell's A Heart Most Worthy. Reading will slow down a lot and be done in snatches because I'm participating in NaNo this year.
I read about 5 books last week but thats partly cos i was in the city and 4 were Heartsong present books. read on on the bus home.
Patricia, you've always got such interesting observations about the books you're reading!
Kathy, I've been wanting to read Jaycee Duggard's book but I admit I've been a bit of a scaredy-cat. I don't like reading painful stuff, because it makes me too sad.
Jenny, I love that you got so much reading done! I'm very jealous.

It doesn't happen every week. this week I have finished 2 books. but if I read a bigger book takes longer. (being tired slows me down too)
Thanks, Dream. I said my reading would slow down, and I guess it has but I'm reading one book in the am before work and one in the evening after I finish my daily writing. Ausjenny, that's why I loved commuting by train when I was in NY. Lots of reading. Driving doesn't work quite the same way, although I absolutely read at stop lights.
Ah, the great train commute. I was just reading an interview with editor Susan Litman about how she reads on the train on the way to work, and I was so jealous! Of course, I can't really complain, since I just go downstairs to go to work.

I am reading the Tiny Blessings Tale Continuity. I just finished Little Miss Matchmaker and I can't wait to start Giving Thanks for Baby!I haven't read the first continuity with the Tiny Blessings but I will have to find the rest of the books so I can!!
Down the stairs is decidedly an easier commute than the train or bus, Dream. LOL! I'd have to discipline myself not to hole up with a novel for an hour or more before actually working.
I got it from netgalley and at about 35% now. Its a wonderful day here and reading on the front porch only the sun is getting close to the chair so will need to find a new spot. shade wonderful sun hot. (around 94ish today) Oh and the book is wonderful. Of course some of the passer by think im crazy with some of the sudden bursts of laughter.
Just started A Holiday to Remember by Jillian Hart. How is everyone getting the little book icons on their post??
Laura when you post about the box it says add book/author click and then look for the book or author and at the bottom of the popup window it says link or book cover.

So I am reading Thanksgiving Target
by Laura Scott. After it I am going to start on the Rocky Mountain Heirs continuity that came out this fall.
Lots of great reading going on! I am so jealous! I haven't had a lot of time to read lately, but with all these good books you're all reading, I want to make some time.

Just downloaded
to my Kindle. It has wonderful reviews on Amazon and sounds like a really good read. I'll start it this evening after I get home from work.
