Awww, poor Jammies. They only knew about my birthday 'cause I took the time to remind them.
Well, now I feel silly, but thank you.
Jammies my best Bastille day ever was in 2009. We arrived in Paris the morning of Bastille Day, (July 14) and caught the end of the heavily-militarized parade down the Champs Elysee. A little bit Scary (LOTS of tanks) but really lovely.
Don't you just hate it when tanks get in the way of a good celebration.
This month is my two-year anniversary on Terminal Coffee. Thanks everyone, I've met some wonderful friends in this group. I appreciate your many kindnesses.
Two years!You are a great TC'er and a great person in general, Cynthia. I hope you stick around for at least two more.

October is a nice time for a birthday, weather wise. I wish little would have been born in October. Since he is a January birthday, I clearly did not know what I was doing. ;)
You could fix that by moving to the Southern Hemisphere!

And I loved the story about Amy going on a talk show and getting the make-up artist to make it look like she got the crap beat out of her...just to screw with her dad and his old-fashioned sexist way of acting toward his daughters in particular. Brilliant! My dad was never that way, but my maternal grandfather was JUST that way!
