Hi, my name is Denis. I have just discovered this group and decided to join. I have recently started my own blog discussing my reading/writing/watching activities plus anything else that crosses my mind. I am following three other blogs but hope to add to that number.

The recent tragic volcano eruption in New Zealand reminded me of my visit to that beautiful country, which in turn reminded me of how I ended up visiting it in the early 1970s as a teenager who had just left school and gone to sea. The results of which, like much of my life were not very successful, but were with hindsight, quite amusing (well I think so, then again, I have been accused of having a warped sense of humour).

I have decided to record these events as a serialised blog feed, perhaps once a week, entitled 'Tales of an Accidental Life?' The first instalment, as an introduction has been posted. Please feel free to visit. I would welcome any feedback people could give me as to the feed or the site in general, and to answer any questions (within reason of course).

Hey out there! I run a blog where I review books so terrible, they have me asking, "How Did This Get Published?" You can find my content here.

I was originally posting it to this site. A little while ago however, my computer started having some major issues, forcing me to reinstall Windows. Because of this and the fact that I didn't put the login information for the site, the email it was connected to, and the social media accounts into their own Notepad files, I lost access. I tried everything I could think of to regain access, but nothing worked.

As a result, I had no choice but to create a new email and everything. I have put the login information for these into their own Notepad files, so I'm hoping this sort of thing doesn't happen again.
