For the "vampires" shelf I'll read River Marked. Does it have vampires? Who knows - but a bunch of people shelved it there so I'm going for it.I should have Industrial Magic finished this week as well. I was ready to start it yesterday but I realized that it had a bunch of good names for the "Names" tournament in the RRRC group so I selfishly decided to wait for May and started something else. Now that it is officially May these two are up next. :)

I read
for our Vampires shelf.RATE 4*
I enjoyed the book, but probably would've enjoyed it more if I didn't have to re-read some sentences because it wasn't transferred correctly into this format. Very annoying! The storyline was very interesting though. Hopefully they'll be more careful in the sequel. Looking forward to continuing the story then.
Finished Alpha. 4 Stars. Great end to a great series. I had moist eyes for quite a few pages. I was Ok with her choice at the end. I hope R. Vincent might right something about our not chosen Lover. I'll have him :o)I'll pick

Finished Damien last night - 4 stars - Another great book in this series. moving from the demons to the vampires didn't detract at all from the series. Loved this new couple and enjoyed the insight into the vampire's place in the Nightwalker world.

OK, so I've finished my book Spirit BoundRate-5*stars
I thought it was awesome Spirit bound will not disappoint! It's full of action and emotions. I think its the best one so far. I really want Rose and Adrian to be an item without Rose questioning those feelings.I do love Rose and Dimitri don't get me wrong but, Rose never really gives Adrian his and her heart a fair shot. The ending was amazing and I can't wait to find out what happens....talk about a cliff hanger! This is definitely a series to pick up!
Off to read the next one...HAPPY READING EVERYONE!!!!

I finished Bloody Bones..4*s...I liked the book but could have done without the graphic details for the goat sacrifice...looking forward to reading the next book
I finished River Marked on Monday (5/2/11). I gave it 4*s - here's the review:Mercy remains one of my favorite UF heroines. I love her and Adam together as well (and admit I got a little teary eyed at the wedding). I enjoyed most of this book and liked the introduction of the animal spirits into Mercy's world. However, it felt like something was missing as compared by my favorite Mercy books. Maybe the pack interaction? A minor quibble with a totally fun and enjoyable read.

Let me know what you think of Clockwork Angel? I've seen so many mixed/discouraging reviews I've somewhat pushed reading this book back on my list >.< Shouldn't let my mind wonder to reviews before reading but, what can I say it happens LOL!!!

I finished Industrial Magic this morning (almost made me late for work) :) I gave it 4*s. Here's the review:I know Paige and Lucas aren't the most popular protagonists in this series but I like them. For me, they're a nice break from Alpha growliness. Given their characters this book is more like a detective story with some paranormal elements. There's more tracking down clues and leads rather than physical confrontations (although there's some of that too). An overall entertaining entry in the series.

Sorry I'm behind Dolls.. I've been out of town and hubby left for a bit so I'm going solo with four girls and all that it entails.. please bare with me.I finished, "Demonglass" and I really enjoyed it. I agree with what I have heard about this one - it's even better than the first one. There was a lot more action and a lot more relationship/character building. Definitely a four star! :)

I'm reading
for the paranormal romance shelf.
Finished Darkling by Yasmine Galenorn and I give it 3 stars. This series is just one of those stories that gradually get better as you read through the books. One thing that I don't like about this series though is how the author makes the main characters, well, have multiple lovers all at the same time as well as making it seem hopeless of the problem ever being solved. It's just not something that I'm very fond of especially for the main character.On the other hand, I'll be reading Primal Bonds by Jennifer Ashley for our next shelf.

Finished The Darkest Kiss last night. 3 stars it's a good read. I loved Anya, she's so cool. Better than book 1, but still there is something missing with this series. Enjoyable, but not as gripping as other books of this ilk. Saying that thought I'll still be reading the rest of them :o)

Wow....my emotions were up and down and I was staying up way past my bedtime to finish "just one more chapter." I think that what mostly sums up this book is "wow Butch". I didn't think I'd like him as much as I do now, then when I read the first book but, now I love him as much as I do the rest. highly recommended!

I've also found that book Insatiable by Meg Cabot and finished it just now. I am sad to report that I only give it 1 star. Never in all my years of reading have I come across characters in a book that I've wanted SO much to strangle and beat the living out of them(that beats Faythe in the Shifters series so they're off the hook). I mean that I know that people have their moments of complete stupidity, but this was just insane. And the way the people around them just took it in stride! "Oh hay, look at that. An extremely buff guy is doing flips off the table and swinging his ancient sword at a to-be-tv star that's hissing at me with these enormous fangs and snake-like tounge. Yeah, I'm just going to believe that the guy's on some sort of drug and go back to my sticky wings." There is NO WAY anyone in their right mind will believe that. There are many, MANY more things I would like to say about this book, but I'll just get on with the point. It was a "mess" to put it lightly.
All right, I'm done with my little/long rant. Back to business. I'll be reading Darkling by Yasmine Galenorn for our vamp shelf.
