Right Hand Magic<----I have this on one of my yearly challenges
Wicked Lovely<-----got this one for .99 cents on my nook
Blood Promise<----need to finish this whole series sometime this year too.
so, which ever one I get to first will be my pick lol. Not much help @ narrowing it down yet but, maybe some one can help me with that?

WL is okay but not that amazing and 'Right Hand Magic' I haven't actually read but I remember seeing Steph (or someone else) apologise for a not-so-good BOM (there was anger I think...) sooo... with that logic, I'd go for 'Blood Promise' because it's awesome. Hope that helps! :)

Free Space - Midnight Crystal by Jayne Castle - Finished 3/6/11 ★★★ - I love the Arcane Society books but I seem to find that the Jayne Castle books are not my favorites. I can't quite put my finger on why because I love the world of Harmony (especially the dust bunnies - and there's another great one here) but I never connect with the couples from these books the way I do with the historicals or the contemporaries in this series.
Midnight Crystal follows the same basic blueprint as the others in the Dreamlight trilogy, only with Alex and Marlowe the Winters and Jones families finally come together in a romantic way. That was a little underwhelming, which is what makes this a 3 star read instead of a 4 star one. There was so much build up on the Jones/Winters family relationships and Nicholas' revenge that I thought the resolution would be more exciting or tense. Given that, I still liked this book and both leads and this series is always entertaining.
Part of a series shelf - Dreamfever by Karen Marie Moning - Finished 3/7/11 ★★★★ - I never know how to rate these books. On the one hand, I tear through them and am definitely excited to read the next one. On the other hand, I don't feel like I really like many of these characters. I know everyone is on the Barrons love train but I feel like it didn't stop at my house because I'm not on it. And Mac - I thought with Faefever that I was turning the corner on her but she went right back to annoying me in this book. I wish Dani was older so that she and V'lane could run away and have a series of their own. Still, I give it four stars because the story is rollicking and I figure even if you don't like the characters, if they're sticking in your mind this much the author's done something right.

Hi Caroline - I hope you enjoy the Demonica book. It's one of my favorite series!

Sallie: A Quick Bite-Lynsay Sands (SOS Bookshelf)

Review - I enjoyed this book. Some Good strong characters and I really liked the relationship between the brothers and also between our main couple. The slant on the demon world was well done and intriguing enough.
I think what let it down in the end was the bad guys. They weren't that bad and not that interesting. The Author didn't really get me emotionally invested in them, I didn't hate them, I was never worried about what they were going to do next and never felt my blood boil about the injustice or wrongness of what they did. I really couldn't care less about the bad guys activity at all.
So some work on the plot and this would have got a sound 4 Stars.

She will start with our 2nd shelf announcement, which is this coming Sunday. For the first shelf, once the 6 of you have read, rated and reviewed your books, you'll earn your stamp. Starting w/the 2nd shelf, all 7 will need to read, rate & review.
Happy Reading! Welcome, Ming! (I keep thinking of Ming from Flash Gordon.) :)

Help me out on how this all works.

Ming, it's much easier to play than to explain, but basically:
* A new shelf will be announced every Sunday (my time, which is 14 hrs ahead of EST in the US). The shelf announcement will include a link to the shelf where you'll browse through the list looking for a book you'd like to read.
* When you've chosen a book from the shelf list, pop back over to your team thread and let them know what you'll be reading.
-- EXAMPLE: For shelf "part-of-a-series", I'll be reading ...
* When you've finished reading your book, pop back over to your team thread and let them know (1) when you finished (2) your ★ rating (3) a brief review
* Once all members of your team have read, rated and reviewed a book for the shelf, your team will receive a stamp on their bingo card for that shelf.
* The first team to get 5-in-a-row (BINGO - diagonal, horizontal or vertical) wins! :D
So, for shelf #1 'part-of-a-series' this team's 6 initial players will have to read, rate and review their book in order for the team to get the stamp. But, starting with shelf #2 'TBA' you will also need to pick a book and post your date read, rating and review (so, all players) to get a stamp. Make sense? If not, we're all happy to answer any questions. :)

Australia??? Japan???
Funny about the flash gordon you are right (and one of the few who have guessed) Ming is a nickname .. Ming the merciless. :-D
I want a Bite me Betty Doll.

But that could be cause we are that sort of age. LOL.
As to time Ming, in Aus it is 9.12pm Thursday night. Right now. Japan is 2 hours behind cause we still have daylight saving here, but usually they are only 1 hour behind Aus.

"Pathetic Earthlings! Hurling your bodies out into the void without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here." Time for a Flash movie night.

Happy reading everyone,and HELLO----> Ming :D
I'm in the middle of it all being from Kansas with the time zones in all LOL.

I finished "Fallen" and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews and wasn't sure I would enjoy it. I'm pretty picky sometimes. The main complaint I've heard is that it is slow- yes this is a bit true. If your in a rush for the action to start it will be difficult for you because Lauren Kate (the author) takes a lot of time building the foundation and mystery. In a way I liked that. I love suspense and not being able to figure out the big mystery. My brain kept scrambling trying to put the pieces together. This wasn't a fantastic book but I liked it and I'll be ready the next one. I give it 4 stars.
I'll get back with you on my free space read. :)
