I can't believe we are so close to the end! For those that played the first time were the changes better for the game. Wasn't there a difference in how often the shelves were announced?
I wonder what the new game is. If it comes up and I am out of the country can I get a spot held for me?

Round 2 was much better. It became torture waiting for the next shelf to be announced every 2 weeks. Some players got confused and frustrated with the wait.
When are you planning to be out of the country?

Not saying! LOL. But remembering it's a game, so the interaction is very important to the fun.

Finished 5/14
★★★½
Game Over is certainly a unique and original book that turned out to be an enjoyable read. River Weston is a video game designer who ends up trapped in her own game along with a Guardian who helps her battle the Dark Lord holding them captive. I am not very familiar with the gaming world, but that did not take anything away from the plot for me. The authors did a really good job blending the technical aspects with the paranormal elements. There is plenty of action and it is fun watching the relationship between River and Hawk develop. I will definitely pick up the next book in the series.

Sandra, I will be away from 29 May to 14 June.
Michelle, I'm also liking the team format. I was initially a little leary of having to do the reviews but I think that this the best part of the team aspect, seeing whaat your fellow teammates think of the book.

OK Sherri I'll keep in mind you'll be away then. Steph may announce the next game before 29/5, 2 weeks from now, anyway, depending on a Winner in this Round.
Reviews have been a great idea, I agree, however bad I am at doing them.

Stay tuned. New bingo shelf will be posted soon!

This is a WINNING shelf for the Sixie Chicks!
Our Next Shelf is: 'fantasy-scifi'
DIRECT LINK: 'fantasy-scifi'
Reminder: All team 6 members must read, rate and review 'vampires' & 'fantasy-scifi' in order to win. If they do not complete their reads for both shelves prior to the next shelf announcement, another team has the chance to win.
Happy Reading! :)

Good Job!! :D

Soooo... I am changing to:

I am really sorry, but inorder to finish it this week, I need something I don't have to completely pay attention to.

So doing a re-read of

The author sent it to me unsolicited (I think because she saw my review of Sharp Shooter written by her alter ego and commented on my blog) and I'm normally not a huge fan of YA or sci fi - but this is cleverly written with an interesting premise.
Ill be sure to add my two cents on the BOM thread!

I'm glad Maria set this one a few years after the Study trilogy. I really have to be in the mood for fantasy books but I did enjoy this one. Maria creates a believable world and interesting characters. I preferred the Study trilogy but I'm soldiering on with the next one anyways! :)

About half way through my re-read of Moon Called, should be finished tonight I think.

Not just the pnr/ufs that I have to buy, but historicals like Georgette Heyer, Stephanie Laurens and Jayne Ann Krentz, in all her names. These ones are readily available at the library, but I like to be able to go to my shelf and read one whenever I like. Mind you I've been collecting them for a very long time.
But I still borrow from the library when I can, and those renewal dates always come too soon. LOL.
