Aloha Richard, great link. Thanks!

Aloha I now have a new word in my vocabulary, anvilicious.

Aloha Carrie is anvilicious? I thought all those kids from high school were bad and deserved to be murdered and destroyed, picking on a kid who is unpopular, a geek and different, not letting the kid sit with them in the lunch room, forcing her to go to the library to read tons of books...

I love all of these books you have mentioned, The Power Of One has a very realistic child point of view. It actually felt like i was seeing/reading through the eyes of a child, it was very well done. I think i have read that book three times, and i usally never read a book more then twice.

Snail in Danger (Sid) Nicolaides (upsight) | 540 comments Aloha - many tropes are subjective.

Aloha Nikki, it's like the ad on that page. Do Italian Sausages make better meatballs?

BTW, "Snail in Danger" reminds me of my sister's experiment with pouring salt on snails. Yuck!

Snail in Danger (Sid) Nicolaides (upsight) | 540 comments Heh. I've been on a non-Pooh A.A. Milne kick. "Snail in danger" is from one of his poems. Poor snails!
