I mean I still love the story and the characters and I will probably be reading this series again and again for years to come. But seriously!!! two pages to explain all that stuff, I was very disappointed.
Yeah Mia it almost ruined the book for me but that very last sentences pretty much saved it<3

I just read it and i felt like we waited the whole entire book to finally find out who she was going to end up with and then all we get is a brief summary of where her life went. Idk. i still loved the book, i just wish the ending would have been a little longer.
Epic I loved it!!! I hope Jenny writes more about all of them!!!

I wish she could've added detail on how he proposed to her, or wrote how the whole wedding went or even like when they saw each other at the graduation. I didn't feel enough closure! Oh and i also wish we could've read what those letters said when he sent them to her in Spain or even the letter that Susannah wrote to him. WAAAAHHH.

I KNOWWW right!!! So many things she could have explained and expanded on. The last chapter was written well, beautifully even but it was way to brief. I want to know what kind of adventures Belly had in Spain and what kinds of things were in the letter he wrote to her, and what they felt after finally seeing each other again and graduation. And of course the last few sentences would have be ten times better if they had maybe a kiss or something.
I think this is the most amazing book ever not even kidding.I think the end was perfect. If she explained it too much, it wouldnt have been as special.I was always team jeremiah, but in this book it all changed, but at the end when Jeremiah was at their wedding with his date my heart kinda broke since i was still hoping he would always only care for belly. During those moments that Conrad was telling her how he felt, ive honestly never cried that hard in my life.im gonna reread this book over and over and i feel like it ended the series really well. Jenny Han is AMAZING im just heartbroken that its all over. This is the best book ive ever read or will ever read. B.C.+C.F.=forever <3333333 im like so happy that we have this discussion group cuz none of my friends get why the book is like so special to me ahah

the only problem is i've reread this book but everytime i do and read the end i am overcome with sadness that it ended so fastt ughh this sucks i like cry everytime i finish it and it makes me not wanna read it again because it just hurts too much :(

I feel like there is a lot missing out of the story also.Like Conrad's letter from Susannah and whether Belly saved her virginity for him. How Conrad engaged in conversation with her through a letter after their goodbye at the almost-wedding. Conrad and Belly meeting again. How he proposed. If they have kids and how Jere and Belly resolved their issues. Who Jere's date was to Belly's wedding. Also if Steven ever found someone. He is Belly's older brother and you never see him in a serious relationship.

i kinda hope they don't make it a movie, because whenever they turn one of my fav books in to a movie/tv series, it always ends up ruining it for me (like twilight) :/And i feel like a lot of the movie makers haven't been coming up with their own ideas to make a movie, they've been taking a lot of the books ideas like, Mortal instruments, shiver, hunger games..etc. But i dunno that could just be me
I think I would like it if they stuck pretty close to the book but at the same time added a few details that would make it better but not ruin the story.

I don't know why authors agree to let their books be turned into movies because 99.9 % of the time they ruin the book, case and point "Twilight Series." I really love the summer series and having it turned into a movie will suck. One of my favorite things about reading is that you can let your imagination come up with what the characters look like, you can create the settings in your head, you can immerse yourself in the characters' world, but when a great book is turned into a movie it ruins all of that.
I already know what Conrad, Jere and Belly look like, I know what the beach house looks like because I can picture them in my head. I don't need to be told by some film studio what my favorite characters look and act and sound like.

Lilly Collins as Belly for sure!!! Maybe Matt Lanter as Conrad? (IK he's 28 and Collins is 22 But my parents are six years in age difference too!)

Kay, as much as I would LOVE to see a SITP movie, we all need to tone it down a bit. LOTS of movies get written, and never even get filmed, or a cast, or a director attached. I don't like it, but even though Jenny said they're writing a script now, we shouldn't get our hopes up. Wait until it's attached to like a director. And then we can get excited.
It would be nice to see these characters come to life and into like big screen... hope the movie wouldn't turn out bad... but if it does, I'll still love all three books :)I really want Jenny Han to write another book!lol

I thought i was the only one who felt that way. I doubt the screenplay will get picked up. I guess the producer people prefer actionish adventure movies more like hunger games, mortal instruments to name a few. I was so excited abt if i stay by gayle forman and it had a cast and everything but it just ended.
