ok, so ive read the first chapter about a million times, and can you you believe her and taylor are still friends! i mean if i had a friend like taylor i would get really annoyed, and the part where shes talking about how when she sees jereimiah she can see the past present and future and Conrad was just young preteen love... HOW CAN YOU SPEND HALF OF YOUR LIFE LOVING A GUY AND THEN IN A SPAN OF A YEAR NOT AT ALL!! and jere was really sweet and all but it's wierd!! through both the books you would smile everytime conrad and belly even TALKED, but now she's kissing his brother. dont get me wrong i LOVED the chapter and squeal with joy everytime i think about it! i just feel so much emotion at once..

Me too. Though im DYING to see a sneak preview of a chap in Conrad's Pov!!!! Why couldnt she at least give us a sneak peek of that!! But loved the gift of chapter 1!! I seriously couldnt believe Belly and Taylor were still buddy buddy after everything in Its Not Summer Without You. But, oh well I guess.

so glad i'm not the only one to have found the jere/belly thing weird. it's like there is no chemistry...which is so strange to say bc it's not two actors . it's two fictional characters in a book but i just don't feel it with jere/belly.
and i did find it weird that she was still friends with taylor but it's probably one of those things where you've been friends for so long there is no point in not being friends anymore.
I totally agree with Lexy. From the very beginning of the series whenever Jere and Belly had a scene together in the books I felt no chemistry what-so-ever. That is why ive been team Conrad from the beginning. When ever Belly and Conrad had a encounter in the book I could feel myself get excited because the chemistry was soo good.And now that Jere and Belly are officially together I find it even weirder to read about them together. I guess thats what makes Jenny Han a good author she can make us feel the chemistry between her characters through just the words on page.
